This team has worked hard all season and earned their first victory today! So proud of their effort and perseverance. One more regular season Sunday left. #uKNIGHTed @wcsNHSzh @wcsNHSpd
We need to empower teachers with instructional approaches that allow them to spend less time at the front of the room and more time in small group and individualized discussions. Otherwise, we will continue to talk about differentiation but never really see it in action.
I really like the idea of changing up these phrases we commonly use with students. My favorite is the switch for “Do you have any questions?” What’s your favorite? #wordsmatter
Join a Family Literacy Night in July! TDOE is partnering w/ community organizations across TN to host these nights that offer excellent ways for families to learn about how to use #TNDecodables w/ their child. Learn more from our #Reading360 Blog: https://t.co/K3oiiT0J9U
Learned about sketch notes on the @iste main stage today, and I tried it with @RCulatta ‘s talk. LOVED IT!! Great idea to shift conversation from the negative (cyber-bullying) to the positive (cyber friendship)! #istelive#istelivecontest
Having fun with my Squad this week @iste! This is our team mascot and our Bitmoji plus ISTE standards challenge. Shout out to my awesome team @wcsCOaf and @wcsRNHSspanish! #ISTELive2021#ISTELiveContest
Enjoyed the @ISTE mainstage with @NoelleSilver_ with her emphasis on multi-modal access and @ChanZuckerburg with a strong focus on students being safe, seen and supported. Also looking forward to building my coaching toolbox. #ISTELive#ISTELiveContest
176 schools were selected for 2nd cohort of trauma-informed schools in TN, doubling the number of schools selected in the 1st cohort. Schools implementing trauma-informed approaches have seen improvements in many areas! https://t.co/Y08NdN7RZ9
Congratulations, Nolensville High School on your debut on the US News and World Report list for Top High Schools in TN- #14! Well done, Knights! https://t.co/eEOsOifxsv
Finished this book by @DoMoreGreatWork...this is a MUST READ for anyone who leads people. I think that teachers will also get some great “pocket questions” to use with students. “A little more curiosity” is something we all need.
Happy 2nd anniversary to this sweet business venture! Congratulations to our transition 1 and 2 students who make these great cookies at NHS every day in the spirit of Kendall Reichert! Keep up the great work!
