Lib Dems on healthcare for women: We know exactly what a woman is. We are clear and to the point. Look at these gynae conditions we've raised. We know what we're talking about.
Lib Dems on single sex spaces: What is a woman? Well it's complicated...
@HelenWebberley Dear Lord save me from this drivel. "Being a man and being pregnant are not a contradiction" A trans man can only get pregnant because "he" is a woman. Only women can get pregnant. Noone is confused about what sex their mother is. Noone.
At no point in this does he explain WHY the NHS have intervened at WellBN. At no point does he reference the investigation into their practices and how they were found to be unsafe. Instead, he sees an opportunity to fundraise and continue the harm.
"As a result, it concludes that potential harm has been caused to the 78 children and young people who are within the scope of the investigation"

Today, @AndreaEganGS has written to @EHRC Chair Dr Mary-Ann Stephenson challenging their statement, giving examples from our members where employers are withdrawing trans inclusive policies and using the code of practice guidance as the reason.

Brett/Brianna Ghey was far from being "just a 16 to living her life". She was being harmed by addiction to social media and mentally ill to the point of being hospitalised . You people who think you know her should read her mum's book.
Brianna Ghey was just a 16 year old girl living her life as she daw fit and not harming anyone. She was brutally killed by two 15 year olds, a female and a male. They knew her. They killed her because she was transgender. Where was the cold rage for her murder? Why no riots???
An expert in the field explains clearly and what's the response?
"But Melanie Field says...."
Akua Reindorf has the patience of a saint. I'd have sunk to the "FFS are you stupid?" level long ago.
@Rhammified@DavidWootton69 Rhammel this is wrong. The Code explains at length the effect of the protected characteristic of gender reassignment.
What you're struggling to accept is that the Equality Act does not give trans ppl the right to be treated as though they've changed sex. It only says they>
I have signed this open letter to Ed Davey and Marie Goldman.
Womenโs sex-based rights must remain protected.

How do people make something so simple so complicated?
It's about sex not gender. Everyone knows what sex they are, even those who pretend they don't. If you're male, use the men's. If you're female use the women's. If your identity doesn't match your sex use the neutral.
When the new EHRC code of practice turns a conversation about womenโs safety into gender policing, where does the line stop?
Nish and Coco are joined by LGBTQ+ activist and Trans Pride Brighton co-founder Sabah Choudrey to discuss on new episode out now.
Dear Lord makes them stop.
First sentence and I thought he'd got it. The code will not apply to employers and workplaces. Followed by rubbish. Have these people never heard of the Workplace Regs?
This is a confusing letter @sianberry.
I have some questions:
1. Youโre asking for legislative action in response to a non-legislative Code. Assuming itโs the Equality Act you want to change, does it follow that you accept that the Code accurately reflects the Act as it is?
There seem to be a lot of people around who don't know the difference between the law and guidance. Many of them seem to be politicians and unions. I'm beginning to understand why my union was so utterly shite when I asked them for support over discrimination.
Dear Lord what fresh hell is this? Is this a reaction to puberty blockers being restricted? Going for the pensioners now? Come on you old men. Get that nail varnish out. It's never too late you know.
