The team batting first would've survived to be 4/200 at stumps. A lot of those wickets yesterday were just poor cricket shots.
Cricket Australia would be absolutely filthy.
So much commentary over a poor day 1 #Ashes2025 pitch in Melbourne.
Stop making excuses for poor batting. T20 batsmen trying to play test cricket.
10yrs ago that would've been praised as a cracking day 1 pitch before it flattened out on day 3/4.
The NRL is a joke. Drops his shoulder, arm tucked, direct and forceful. Literally, the definition of everything they have sin binned all season, and it's a penalty only. #NRLGF
@bowtiedstocks They said on the coverage that the Millennial/Gen Z voters were firmly in the Labor camp. That is the Greens target base. Gotta pin a lot of this on Max and their idiot deputy in the senate.
Day by day it should be becoming crystal clear to all that have eyes that the current administration is severely lacking in execution skills and seems to be making policy on the run
Its hard to understand why the decisions being made are so poor when there are so many billionaires in the room, perhaps the problem is self interest, however if the current decision making skills from the US administration in charge of the largest economy in the world fills you with anything other than WTF uncertainty, I don't know what to tell you
Execution has never been Trump's strong point however this is next level, Fuck your Art of the Deal bull shit, that's cope and you know it, this is unhinged
Investors won't have it, the bond market will undoubtedly continue to express this simple fact, which means we are in for a very very rough ride
I enjoy trading the volatility of these shit decisions however it does worry me for the broader economy, small businesses, people's jobs, that what is really at great risk both in the US and globally as uncertainty and poor decision making seems to be a feature not a bug of this administration and will not doubt continue to be showcased across all policy areas
I will continue to sell into euphoria in this mkt regime and buy into the world is ending sell offs
Is Australia safe for Americans to visit?
Today, someone at my work told me that he and his wife had told their good friend from the USA not to come for a holiday to visit them in Australia because they didn't think it was safe here for Americans at the moment.
WTF
@AvidCommentator@bowtiedstocks I have a handyman business side gig mainly doing real estate work. Sometimes agents tell me the quotes they've already received for certain jobs and it blows my mind.
The @QldGreens are really showing the old parties how to support the community during #CycloneAlfred. While Labor and the LNP demonise young people, the youthful Green Machine never stops reaching out and serving ๐
