@_perniciously_ @YorkDRF @GSwinburn @AshleyMasonYork Then it must NOT be a York Licensed company that ONLY uses York Licensed drivers and vehicles that you are ordering from, because a cab that won’t fit a folded wheelchair in the boot will fail the York taxi test and NOT get York licensed. Taxi boots are literally tape measured

Wheelchair users that DO NOT need to remain in wheelchair could help those that do need to, by requesting a low car NOT a wheelchair accessible car as ALL York Licensed cabs can fit a folded wheelchair in the boot

@pierreofficial @MeGuinness @UberUK Easily remedied. #deleteuber Use black cabs or a local private hire company. Anything is better than using this toxic law breaking disreputable company. Get rid. Use a legitimate locally licensed taxi company that you can trust

@YorkDisability @hallowheelchair @CityofYork I know that around 20% of our fleet (Fleetways) are WAVs and probably around the same % of hackney carriages are too and must remain so. I’m sure taxi Licensing will have a list somewhere. Why not email them? [email protected] Copy me in. 😁
