It would be surprising that humans would make something and then call it God, except for the fact that it’s one of the oldest practices in human history.
As Americans our elderly should not have to live in fear. This random mugging and Baltimore cost a valuable community, advocate her life. What’s more troubling is that had she not succumbed to her wounds. The suspect would have been charged with unarmed robbery. And this story would have stayed completely off the radar because politicians intentionally ignore crimes like this.
🚨 GUINNESS OPEN GATE BREWERY IN MARYLAND TO CLOSE NOV. 1
After eight years in Baltimore County, Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Halethorpe will permanently close Nov. 1, parent company Diageo announced Thursday. WBFF
Diageo cited rising operating costs and changing consumer preferences for the decision.
The closure is significant for Maryland: Diageo said earlier this year that it had invested more than $90 million in the Baltimore County operation, which employed 134 people and had welcomed nearly 2 million visitors since opening. Maryland General Assembly
The site made history when it opened in 2018 as the first Guinness brewery in the United States since 1954. Now, 134 more jobs have been lost under the Moore administration.
🍺 Last call in Halethorpe: Nov. 1.
it's a shame frederick douglass isnt portrayed on any us currency because even just from a purely aesthetical standpoint he had such a sick ass side profile
As a member of the tick-phobic community and one who has often been driven from her own yard & garden by mosquitos, this might be my fave thing the Trump admin has ever done.
Trump signed an executive order yesterday directing federal agencies to develop and implement, by November 27, a campaign across Washington, D.C. to reduce, by 2028, invasive mosquito populations by 90% & tick populations by 50%: https://t.co/0FkpahWnrO @chenderson
@AndrewKolvet This Massachusetts judge, if is as wise as he thus far has appeared to be, will refer Reddington to the Massachusetts bar for disbarment proceedings for his attack on the massively important jury system of the Commonwealth and the United States of America.
Soon, the Eastern Shore of Maryland will be represented by someone just like Jamie.
That fact alone should be enough evidence to convince everyone to VOTE NO on Question #3.

🚨 Kudlow: “This is a BOOM”
@larry_kudlow: “The Atlanta Fed is saying the economy is growing at over 5% in real terms.”
“Retail sales are growing at 6%. Business investment, machinery, equipment, data centers — over 20%.”
“Productivity… is now growing the last two years, 3% annually. We haven’t had that since the Reagan ’80s.”
Did you know that new Census Bureau statistics show the US poverty rate fell to a record low in 2025? That real median household income in 2025 was "the highest on record dating back to 1967"? Have you seen a big White House event featuring President Trump touting a welcome decline in poverty and increase in income? There hasn't been one. But good economic news gives Trump the opportunity not to argue that there are no problems with the economy, or that Americans who are deeply upset about prices are being unreasonable, but to argue that a number of important factors in the economy are moving in the right direction, and that the administration is working to fix the ones that aren't. https://t.co/e9Ca8i9q0u
In a stunning political move, the chief judge of the Minneapolis federal bench disclosed the behind the scenes collaboration between all judges to thwart legal proceedings related to immigration cases this year.
Patrick Schiltz, who admitted his longtime involvement in a pro-migrant nonprofit, reveals how judges remained on their cell phones nonstop to halt deportation proceedings. And rather than evaluate each case individually—as is required—the judges developed pro forma orders (as I predicted) to immediately stop cases in their tracks.
This is something:
Schiltz: “Some judges built templates of legal orders so they could respond quickly to some of the detention issues that were arising again and again.”
They tried to do w/ social media what they are attempting now with AI. To own it all & own us. They used dubious crises: "Russiagate," Covid etc. We barely survived those attempts to grab social media & the 1st Amendment & the proof is I can write about them on X.
Don't let those people capture AI. They may try new crises. Hang tough.
I want the future to be human and I don't trust any of the AI companies a whit. But this smacks of the "spontaneous" nuclear freeze demos ginned up by the Soviets.
The world is waking up to extinction risk in the wake of Jacob Coxon's resignation.
We need to rise up to the occasion now.
Every one of us. Drop everything and join us.
Emergency protests are being launched worldwide to make sure governments hear the people and the experts' voices during this critical window (links in thread). Tell your friends. Be there.
The Hugging Face attack has shown AIs are capable of autonomously hacking companies. With relentless persistence, these AI agents dismantled every barrier in their way to achieve their goal. Future AIs will pursue their goals just as relentlessly, but with more-than-human intelligence. If we try to stand in their way, we may not win that fight.
Politicians are responding. Senator Bernie Sanders and Representative Greg Casar announced the first US bill to ban superintelligence. In the UK, Alex Sobel has done the same, and over 70 MPs and peers have signed ControlAI's letter urging Andy Burnham to back it, calling on him to use the UK's G20 presidency next year to build "a coalition of the willing to tackle this national and international security threat."
The human story cannot end here. Loss of control to AI is entirely preventable. We must unite, worldwide, for humanity.
