@bacqueyrisses@_buildspace I love this idea! It kind of reminds me of that camera that uses AI to create the picture based off location/time/weather data, but this seems much more approachable
Today's note apps feel too slow or complex (or both!), so I'm building one that's fast and simple.
Here's my toy showing how you can quickly capture notes from any app.

Note apps have become so complex that you need a masterclass just to learn how to use them.
I'm making an app that keeps notes simple, always.
Thoughts?

@vidurkl @_buildspace@_nightsweekends I hadn't considered migrating from other apps yet, because I'm building it as an alternative to notes apps that didn't "stick" for people and, as a result, aren't invested in it yet. But that's a really good point, and I'll have to think about it some more.
@nouzaa19@_nightsweekends@_buildspace That's an ambitious goal, but I'm rooting for you. If you cook healthy food without compromises, I'll be your first subscriber!
@obooks29@_nightsweekends Really cool idea! Finding a venue can be overwhelming, but having the perfect one suggested would be amazing. Looking forward to seeing where you take this!
@twirinochka@_buildspace@_nightsweekends Do you intend to curate a list of good reads or use ML and suggest based off their reading "profile"? As an avid reader, I'd love to try it out when you make it a reality!
@kentcdodds Not specific to this approach as much as controlled components in general, but the cursor placement will behave inconsistently when editing. Inputting a lowercase letter will maintain expected cursor position, but inputting a capital letter will move the cursor to the end.
@derrickreimer I think βposition: stickyβ creates its own stacking context, so the menuβs z-index wonβt break out of it. DOM order is placing the next sticky header above the menu, since itβs a separate stacking context.
