@flykessel Pairing, so that didn’t help things. All of that paired with the regression of Devan Dubnyk and you see some poor looking fancy stats. Dumba will be fine, believe me, he’s no risto repeat.
@flykessel We have some of the worst goaltending stats in the league, he also started the year paired with Suter who for some reason only plays his game with Spurgeon. Now that Dumba and Brodin are together they’re getting back to form. We also have been without a consistent third cont...
@flykessel Together at the same time, meant he was hitting a lot of shot blockers early in the year, and he wasn’t as capable of blasting those quick slappers in the way he was used to. The confidence is starting to return and he’s getting on the sheet again. Give it time, he is elite.
@flykessel Dumba is having a slower than expected recovery from when his pectoral muscle was torn off the ligament. He was on pace for most goals in the NHL among defenseman when he went down. The fact that, that injury, plus the league being aware of his scoring prowess all came... cont.
@sasquatch_rogue @whosPeIIey Also worth noting at Bura's failed attempts to hit Dumba in the groin. Real old time gentleman, taking shots at another's groin. #trash
@wagesofwins There isn't one when you're over 6'3".
Also, sorry for anyone in front of me, and yes those are my knees preventing your seat from going anywhere.
Like what the hell are you supposed to do when airplanes are designed for the averaged size human?
This tweet is stupid.
@JRWerner9@MNState0fHockey@mnwild It's more about how poor the returns all were, had we received some picks too, then we could at least test our luck in draft picks too.
@china_in_chair @Nick9443@MNState0fHockey@mnwild Crosby Malkin and Kane Toews are combinations that take years and years of sucking at the exact perfect time.
Look how many tries Edmonton had before they finally landed McDavid. It's not that simple.
@JRWerner9@MNState0fHockey@mnwild We didn't trade a single 30g scorer. What are you talking about?
Previous three seasons:
Coyle: 10, 12, 11
Granlund: 15, 21, 26 (that was 16-17 when Staal had 42 and Zucker had 33)
Niederreiter: 9, 18, 25
Nino and Granny were producing, but that drastically stopped recently.
@Moffio8982@MNState0fHockey@mnwild Not that simple, you have to draft well and the KHL game doesn't always cleanly translate to the NHL. Not that I'm not excited for Kap or a potential top three pick, but this year's draft isn't like last year's with all that high end talent. Takes a bit of luck too.
@ZBwildnation_HW When Boldy gets here, you'll be very very happy. He's wicked and he's going to be a good NHL player. We probably got the steal of the draft either way, but don't act like Boldy will be a third liner and Caufield will be some 50 goal stud.
