Good reminder that, Fresh off a 12-1 season, Notre Dame voluntarily suspended their starting QB Everett Golson for the entirety of the 2013 fall semester for cheating on a test.
Texas Tech is not only shamelessly allowing a player who bet on his own games to play for their team…they appear to have rigged the local courts to make sure it happened.
The opinions and moral posturing of Joey Mac and Texas Tech administration should never be taken seriously.
@Blake_Allen13@conorsen Texas and A&M are too highly ranked and admit too many students for Rice to stand out in the way that some similar schools have. Also their sports have gone backwards the last decade.
Because Mormons are nice people but they are not Christians. Although Christian Scientist, Jehovahs Witness, and Seventh day Adventists shouldn’t be in the club here either.
Yeah the Trump administration needs to own this 100%
The "Cut Spending Cut Spending Cut Spending" crowd just targeted really good worthwhile programs, the deficit is higher than ever, and now we're seeing the effects of letting teenagers and Elon Musk LARP as libertarian budgeters
Never let these idiots touch power again
Arizona wastes an extraordinary amount of water growing alfalfa in the literal desert. It's ~27% of the state's total water use.
This is extremely uneconomical, and if farmers were forced to to pay anything close to the actual value of that water, it would disappear overnight.
@BaseballWRLD_ The thing you are forgetting is that Nick Castellanos has historically a stubborn and selfish idiot. He’s also probably getting DFA’d without a turnaround so he’s incentived to prioritize himself and not the team.
Daily reminder that whenever anyone says “they’re living on a fixed income” that means the same thing as “having a w-2 job” and you should show them the same sympathy you would show anyone else complaining about not being able to afford a house they bought
During ZIRP, middle class Americans got a little taste of what it's like to have servants, and some ppl are really mad it went away. But the US doesn't really have the class language for that flavor of resentment, so we get the silly-sounding human right to burrito taxi discourse
