During the summer, workers leaving the factory after their shift could stop at the cold storage room and then carry home blocks of ice to keep their food cold once home - before refrigerators of course.

He did all this Not to make money, but to improve the lives of His workers so that they were more effective at work so that Our Friend Henry could lower the prices of His model T's and tractors for everyone's advantage.
