@InsidiousBP@UrinatingTree Im not arguing going for the field goal is wrong, im saying that acting like going for the td is the worst decision of all time is stupid. You still have enough of a cushion that not getting it isn’t that big of a deal. And in the end it didn’t end up mattering
@InsidiousBP@UrinatingTree You are not giving the ball to the opponent only needing 1 drive to tie the game if you fail. You will get the ball back and it’s harder to score 2 tds than just 1. As the cowboys proved last night
@InsidiousBP@UrinatingTree Up 14 you have a larger cushion. The opp would have to do 2 drives to tie instead of just 1. And no it’s not outrageous. You just have to get 1 yard. It’s not ever outrageous to expect your offense to get that.
@InsidiousBP@UrinatingTree Frankly, i don’t think it’s ever outrageous to trust your offense on the goal line when you are already up two scores. Maybe if you were up only 7.
@InsidiousBP@UrinatingTree I understand why you’d go for the field goal, it wouldn’t have been a bad decision, but acting like going for the touchdown is so outrageous is ridiculous.
@InsidiousBP@UrinatingTree I think it’s braindead to act like trusting your offense to get one yard is an egregious call. I like Tree but the schtick of being outraged over this call and calls like it are dumb.
@bigmacadamia55 The suns routinely had the best offenses in the league, they didn’t need nash to shoot more. He was certainly capable of getting buckets but most of the time the suns just needed him to run the offense and make plays.
