@GWRHelp just used the new online booking system. Arrrgh. Can't select airline seats anymore. Can't refresh seat reservations to get different ones. Booking ref code in email in the space that the booking collection code used to be in. Not liking your new system at all.

@SimonCalder Chaos in LPA (Gran Canaria) last October, people missing flights to U.K. left right and centre as regular passport scanning machines not working, only 1 Border Control agent there to review passports and stamp them. And they wouldn’t let you go first if your flight was leaving.

10:00am Sat 25.10.25 at Gran Canaria airport LPA huge queues for non-working (ordinary) passport gates at least 30 people missed their Ryanair 11am flight to Manchester. Nobody calling people out for departing flights. Get here super early just to get through passports.

@DrHelenFry I’m local and was told various POWs were put there, and there were intelligence listening services deployed between the walls of the building they were in. Could just be rumour of course.
