@OnchainLens I don't know enough about wallet scanning and copy trading, so please don't blow me up, but how do we know this isn't a fund or company that also has $200mm in long calls sold or actually a long position in actual BTC they are insuring against across multiple other wallets?

@dotkrueger @ColinTCrypto Fred, how do you we know that? I’ve read two opinions on it. In fact Coinbase says their cbBTC isn’t taxable on their site. In my research taxation of a wrap hasn’t been defined by the IRS yet. So set aside your penalties & future tax JIC. Do you know otherwise?

@ColinTCrypto @dotkrueger The issue with this is the lack of IRS guidance on whether the wrap is taxable or not. Have a friend who is being audited now and one of the inquiries was whether he has wrapped his crypto. So it’s on their radar they just need to publish something guidance.
