Big Record Labels Sue AI Music Generators for Copyright

Big record labels are suing two AI music companies for using copyrighted songs without permission. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) says these companies train their AI on popular music and then create new songs that sound like famous artists.

The companies being sued are Suno and Uncharted Labs. Uncharted Labs' software, Udio, has already made popular songs heard by millions. The RIAA claims these AI services are unfairly profiting from artists' work without giving them credit or payment.

This legal battle could change the future of music and technology.
