Here is an alternative to BioRender that is TRULY FREE and actively maintained. Over 1500 vectorized images sorted by license type (all creative commons or MIT). Fully editable icons and soon they will launch an Inkscape library.

My 2nd first-author paper @woychiklab is out😍: the only MazF toxin in Mycobacterium smegmatis seems to be functionally similar to MazF-mt9 in M. tuberculosis (it cuts tRNA-Lys that reads AAA codons). MazF-ms induction selectively halts translation of mRNAs enriched in AAA codons
