Since 2013, when Dan Hughes first shared his ideas on Bitcointalk, the seeds of the Radix Community were planted. Dan proved himself to be a brilliant mind and a man of rare integrity in the crypto space. He dedicated more than a decade to tackling the blockchain trilemma of security, scalability, and decentralization - never hesitating to start from scratch if that was what it took to discover the right solution. His persistence, vision, and honesty earned the respect of all who followed his work.

Over the years, some community members have remained steadfast, others have moved on, and new ones have joined - yet the spirit of Radix has always endured. Today, in the wake of Dan’s passing, we as members of the Radix Community pledge to honor his vision and carry his work forward. Like Dan, we will take action - whether through small contributions like gifs, memes, and Reddit posts, or through ambitious projects such as developer resources and research initiatives.
