Looks like we finally have "the next GFP". Until now we had monomeric GFPs brighter than EGFP (mClover3, mNeonGreen, mGreenLantern) but with reduced photostability.
In monomeric StayGold (mSG), there's finally an mGFP that is both brighter and more photostable.
