Very interesting thread… which now makes me wonder… 3x immigrant, went from homeless in New York living on the streets and subway station in Chelsea area to 6 figure global design & product career working with Microsoft, BlackBerry, Sony, VW, and others, launching over 300 projects in my agency career, then over a decade across cutting edge tech startups, with my work being impactful to 3x exits in the last decade. Denied by @ycombinator 3 times while YC says “we look for exceptional people” but, I’m 46, no Ivy League school, and no fancy connections. I want to stay positive, but as Tywin Lannister said - you’re not a true king if you have to keep saying “I am the king!” 🤷🏻‍♂️

@boardyai Don’t know… I just drove two hours, exhausted, no food all day, and a broken toe to pitch at Deep tech & AI in Silicon Valley, walking away with Chinese robotics company wanting to use our tech and a fund in the valley interested in our next round. Am I the cracked one? 🤷🏻‍♂️
