This present generation of youths have gone rogue and wild. Sc@mming is rife, prost!tut!on so common, r!tual money endeavors at their peak,cr!me wave at its record highest, thugggery, drug and substance abuse like never before.
The future is so bleak and dare I say, even hopeless, when we consider the fact that, going by right reason, things would only get even worse for the next generation that would be so unlucky to have this reckless "gen Z" as their own "chaperones".
Everyone is considerably aware of the state of things up to this point. What I think most don't understand,or atleast pretend not to understand is the fact that a great amount of blame for all of this decadence and rot in Africa lies on the generation that is 70+ today. They miserably failed us and our children to come.
It goes without saying that leadership is at the fore of everything. The crop of leaders we have had in Africa since the era of independence has been by and large an absolute disgrace. They have taught the young every single tactic of evil leadership, corruption, injustice, theft. Worst of all, they have refused to relinquish power and opportunities to the young, who must now survive by all means necessary. They created the same monsters they are now weary of. We are products of their recklessness. And you wonder why respect for elders has diminished to an all time low.
How do you expect people who have had their dreams snatched away from them by these old w!cked folks to bow down in respect anymore? Youths are seeing their lives drain away before them, and those who are meant to have their best interests at heart, are only interested in their greed and politicking, and don't care one bit. I am not taking anything away in terms of accountability from the part of the gen Z. I am just saying that a fruit never falls too far from its tree. There's a lot I don't know yet, but what I know is that more political awareness and increase involvement by the young people is a must, if we hope to change the status quo. But all the wrong priorities must be changed. The wind of change is blowing in some places already. May it reach everywhere. It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of a remarkable individual, Mr. Andrew Neba, who devoted 60 years of his life as a butler to our late father Solomon Tandeng Muna. Throughout those years, he seamlessly became an integral part of our family, affectionately known as Ni Andrew. He was not just a dedicated employee , but a cherished member of our household.
In the midst of his service, love found its way into Mr. Neba's life as he met and married Rose, a wonderful woman from our very own village. Together, they built a beautiful life, filled with love, laughter, and the joys of raising their responsible and successful children.
While we grieve his loss, we find solace in the fact that Mr. Ni Andrew lived a full and meaningful life. His presence brought warmth, wit, and endless smiles to our lives. His departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but we choose to honor his memory by celebrating the impact he had on all of us.
As his soul finds eternal rest with the Lord, we remember him fondly for his unwavering love and loyalty.
