The healthiest thing dips can do is firm up, curl and then flush out all the dip buyers in one candle of full blown panic.
Most position too much before that and are part of the last dip before the rip and reclaim.
@SawyerMerritt Slowing down the car with torque drag between ‘shifts’ to simulate gears in a EV is moronic. The best part about EVs is the seamless acceleration and instant uninterrupted torque SMH…
I spent over two decades as a full time futures trader and scalper, and I learned your edge isn’t just your strategy. It’s your focus.
It’s the amount of hyperfocus it takes every single day. Blocking everything out, slowing your heart rate down, staying calm, believing in your homework, executing at a high level. Trading has to be your number one focus each day. So if you’re learning to become a successful trader, here are three things you may be focusing on that are working against you.
First, other people’s money. Stop looking at how much everyone else is making. That’s the number one thing you have to look away from. I was around thousands of traders on the floor and I barely remember us talking about money. It was private. The goal was to build a life. It felt blue collar. Today everyone talks about what they make, trying to prove someone wrong about the market. It’s a different place, and a lot harder for a new trader to block the noise out.
Second, the access. Overnight used to just be overnight, where you managed a position if you had one. Set time to start, set time to break, set time to come back. We traded mornings, skipped midday, came back for the close. Now the access never stops, and it’s spread everyone’s focus too thin to stay locked in.
Third, understanding the market environment. We move between environments at a very rapid rate. We go from trending higher with no signs of a pullback, buy the dip and hold on, straight into sell off mode. Trying to guess what those days will be like going into them is very difficult. You have to stay open minded and understand how quickly the tape can change. Last Friday was the perfect example. A market runs higher a lot further than most thought, then unravels all at once. It’s the same psychology we see in traders. They stay in their own trend for only so long, then unravel all at once. If you’re not focused, or you’re clinging too hard to one market environment as you move into the next, you aren’t allowing things to be what they are. You’re fighting them for what they were.
So here’s the simple part. Slow everything down. Survive a game where you pay your bills and stay in long enough to make a living. There will be moments this business really pays you, and you won’t choose them. They choose you. The rest is grinding, surviving, enjoying the process. Arguing with people on social media is a time waster, and the people who do it are usually unhappy in their own lives. Spend your time wisely.
Focus is the whole game. Protect it like your account depends on it, because it does.
Enjoy your life. Have fun. This is the greatest business in the world if you let it be. And it’ll be the worst, and destroy your life, if you let it.
Cheers, DELI
SELLING OPTIONS DURING PEAK VOL
In my previous video on options selling, I discussed the importance of only selling options during times of heightened vol rather than in “No Man’s Land.”
I used the analogy of equating options to insurance and wanting to sell it just AFTER the catastrophic event blows out.
Case in point: I sold some UCO call options against UCO net long exposure. UCO is up 15% and yet the options are flat. Why? The time elapsed is minimal. It’s bc the implied vol has compressed considerably.
So, in terms of the option position, I was directionally wrong but the massive IV cushion compensated for that.
In an upcoming YouTube video, I will be sharing my 4 golden rules for options selling which further explains this point.

If we see Iran actually manage to cut deals with European and Asian country, bypassing US-Dollar in the region and even getting paid in Crypto...
That will be the biggest bull case for Crypto we have perhaps ever seen.
It will show that no major power can weaponize their currency as an oppressor.
This is not about US vs China.
The US is the example in this major conflict but people will see the US as a potentially interchangeable party.
Today's US could be tomorrows China (even if historically speaking they focus on domestic and not foreign affairs, while US is expansionary in nature as it continuously goes to war).
As we head into more uncertain times and frictions arise between superpowers, there is a great need for a apolitical and unsanctionable means of payment.
I understand that this had been a bull case presented by many years ago, my point is saying this conflict was a worldwide one: Europe, USA, China, Asia, Australia...
All countries were involved and while the Yuan is being floated as the deal currency as many countries are not set up to pay in crypto just yet, it fully validates the need for such a currency.
Especially as the trend shows an increasing possibility of a major conflict between the US and China over the long term, countries will have to choose crypto to remain apolitical and neutral.
Any neutrality and unsanctionability will need an alternative payment system which Crypto will provide.
This conflict together with the new crypto rails might just accelerate the strategic crypto reserves across many countries.
Many of the superpowers have been pushing back on crypto to retain their control, never truly thinking about the lost of control in conflicts we thought would never happen.
People are waking up to the fact we had the most peaceful period ever after WW2 and we are getting back to the historical norm, the dark reality of war and power.
The list expands:
- Cheaper transactions
- Faster transactions
- Faster settlement
- Unhackable/safer
- AI agents
- Non inflationary
- Tokenization
- Global currency
And they say Crypto is expensive.

@garrytan This judge needs to be recalled. There needs to be some common sense accountability so there are actual repercussions to deter repeated violent crime. Most repeat offenders or violent criminals are repeatedly released back into society due to these judges.
When a man assaulted California politician @SpeakerPelosi's husband in San Francisco, he got life in prison with no parole.
When a man kills an Asian senior citizen for sport in San Francisco, the progressive @SFSuperiorCourt releases him.
A historic moment for crypto.
Kraken Financial has been granted a Federal Reserve master account, making us the first digital asset bank with direct access to the U.S. payments system.
A major step toward connecting crypto infrastructure with the core rails of global finance.

Weird how we don’t hear anything anymore about dollar debasement, constrained silver supply, and the new paradigm of currencies.
Also weird how we don’t hear about how quantum computing is inevitable w huge profit potential.
See how that works? Worth studying.
💪 Can you do 50 push-ups in a row?
Being able to do 50 consecutive push-ups is more than just a party trick—it places you well above the average adult in terms of upper-body muscular endurance.
While fitness levels vary by age and sex, most sources estimate the average man can perform around 15 to 20 push-ups in a single set, with fewer for women. According to various strength benchmarks, hitting 50 push-ups in a row would land you in the top 10–15% of men, depending on age, and far ahead of the general population.
That level of performance suggests not only strength, but also discipline, consistency, and muscular endurance.
Push-ups are a compound bodyweight movement that test more than just chest power. They engage the chest, shoulders, triceps, and core, and also demand stability and form under fatigue. Unlike gym-based strength tests, push-ups are universal and require no equipment, making them a widely accepted indicator of baseline fitness. While they're not a complete measure of athleticism, reaching 50 strict reps signals a serious level of conditioning—and in an age where sedentary lifestyles are common, it’s a fitness milestone worth recognizing.

Onchain finance is still early.
A lot of problems are solved by having higher standards. Low standards make everything feel optional. You let things slide. You accept less than you're worth. You allow your goals to fade. Raise the bar higher than what feels comfortable. Your standards decide your future.
