Let's move to a pre 2004 constitution, remove minority affairs ministry let Hindus run temples as private bodies and once that is done I'll come to protest CAA!
Dynasty controlled Congress ruled India for four decades. It appointed Judges, Election Commissioners, CBI Chiefs, with no involvement of LoP, CJI or any other constitutional position.
It routinely dismissed elected State Govts, appointed family cronies as Chief of Army Staff, and arbitrarily interfered with the CJI line of succession.
Elections were marred by violence, booth capturing and all kind of malpractices that you can imagine.
And yet, the then opposition did not create an environment in which the sanctity of elections or of institutions like Judiciary, Election Commission or Army was put to such systematic propaganda and distrust.
Progressively, our institutions like Judiciary and EC have become more independent. In particularly our elections have become transparent and less vulnerable to fraud like booth capturing, bogus voting etc.
From voter ID to EVMs, India's elections have become most robust in the world. This is not to say that there are no issues and that we are perfect. In particular, the process of maintaining electoral rolls have a huge scope for improvement and progressively, with the use of Aadhaar, and technology, this too will become robust.
Our institutions are not only the most credible in our history, but today, they match with the best in the world.
The dynasty must stop undermining the credibility of Indian democracy, in their frustration of not being able to get back to power.
@SwiggyCares Your customer service executive has clearly said that it is option a) so I am going for the option of not using your app and moving. Peace out
@SwiggyCares a math question, if I but 3 items and one item worth 613 is unavailable and replaced with an item worth 494 what is the refund amount?
a)₹10
b)₹119
Every time we file returns after correctly balancing the ITR2 our dividend income is double counted and this is happening across companies and people. Unless you find evidence of misreporting/audit something you shouldn't be adding tax claims. @IncomeTaxIndia@nsitharaman
My default is to give people the benefit of doubt and not make unprovable allegations. How does @palkisu know that the absurd NYT story about 250m protestors wasn’t just sloppy reporting? That said undeniable that such stories hurt NYT brand in India. Hope we’ll see a correction.
@bharathanrd@akilan27@timesofindia@nytimes What people don't understand is that the striking workers don't do much work even when not striking so India is hardly affected. 🤣
That constitution survives because of the majority, why don't you go and enforce a secular constitution in Pakistan or Saudi. Hell, even Kashmir was unenforceable.
@suryakane Slick writing but far from the truth. A culture that imposes by force its tenets is no better than the ones that tried to displace it with power. Pluralism survived for decades because it was enshrined into the constitution and not from the kindness of the majority's heart.
1500 votes.
83% of my followers do not know that Creamy Layer does not include salaries.
SC going to hear in April if the EWS income limit of 8L (which does include salaries) is legit or not. This is Modi's only #C initiative.
A giant void of knowledge on our side.
