My coding agents were stuck on the same failing test for ten days and I kept saying yes.
More retries? Sure. I even doubled them in one day. Didn’t catch the loop until I asked why the roadmap was so slow. They knew they were stuck. They never asked me whether to stop.
What makes your agents come back and tell you they’re stuck?

It's great that Grok @bot released the iOS connectors earlier this week. However there is an issue with the access on other devices.
When I ask @bot to read my calendar via Mac app, it requires the iOS app to be opened on my phone. It looks like some underlying hacking.
might tag the almighty @poteto for reporting.
Yesterday was my last day at Anthropic.
I created Claude Code on desktop because I believe everyone can be a builder. Every feature request and bug report we got from this community was a gift that impacted millions of lives. I’m eternally grateful for those gifts, the product wouldn’t be what it is without you.
Anthropic is doing some of the most important work of our time. Contributing to that mission will forever be a career highlight for me. I never imagined I’d get to contribute to something so special in my lifetime.
Walking away from my best friends, a product I poured my heart into, and the mission was the hardest thing I’ve done in my career. But now I have some free time for GTA VI.
I'm already itching to get back to addressing all your feedback. I'll share what's next soon!
I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined.
I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top.
The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever.
My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply.
To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had.
For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new.
If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.
@poteto and @bot team, great ship on the grok bot in X chat. one bug I noticed is that the voice chat is not transcribed like how it's done in the standalone app.
not a great time to make such announcement right after the incidents in Hacktober.
The only way to trust it is properly collaborating with @Apple and @Google to make this available in native wallet apps.
Any standalone app would be super sus. Remember ArriveCAN?
Maybe important to repost this now that everyone is getting hacked
If you have a VPS, I recommend you to get if off the public internet and into a Tailscale network and Cloudflare Tunnel ASAP
It doesn't matter you have SSH key login, this is about exploits and vulnerabilities AI is finding
There's 2 ways into a VPS:
- via your site/app (like the PHP exploit of this week with a file upload hack)
- via your server (like hacking into SSH or some open port)
The site/app side you put on a Cloudflare Tunnel and then with the default Free Plan it has WAF security enabled by default and they jump on new security exploits fast, it means that the only way to reach your website is via the Cloudflare Tunnel, your server does not respond to port 80 or 443 anymore
The server side you put on a Tailscale network which is like your own private network that nobody can access but your own devices (like your laptop, your phone and your VPS) kinda like a VPN
Then you switch off ANY regular access to your VPS on the firewall, in my case I use Hetzner and you create a new firewall then empty it and that blocks everything (test it)
How do Tailscale and Cloudflare Tunnel get in then? They don't. They go outbound. They make a tunnel to outside which sends and receives
Now you've reduced your attack vector to Tailscale and your Cloudflare Tunnel, much safer, not perfect btw, but nothing is
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026.
That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community.
Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward.
We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how:
· Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly.
· Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact.
· Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security.
· The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional.
Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.
@Deepusleepy It’s an easy process. You select your cursor, grok, x accounts and choose unify. Still the same logins but in the backend they are sharing the same limit pool
