@TheFalcoholic This is just more supporting evidence he doesn't have decisiveness needed to be a big time winner. We will be stuck in moderately good purgatory for 2 more years before the team moves on.
@TheFalcoholic Koo has won us more games than lost, but he lost us this one and it hurts, especially against the Saints; luckily it seems like a fluke and I still am excited about the season.
@honest_math@cybulski_c@AdviserCounsel@nikir1 @michaelLPCInc @GRomePow This 5.75% also doesn't account for breakpoint schedules as well.
Also FWIW culturally the relationship between the founders of EJ & AF is very important to both companies, so it isn't surprising that there is a significant business relationship
@insulinabuser69 Disclaimer that I generally agree, but to play devils advocate:
1) all tax advantaged accounts maxed out
2) income tax bracket will be high in retirement due to RMDs + other income such as pension/social security
3) currently have children/spouse and would need LI anyway.
VUL?
@PeterZeihan Isn't it also fair to say the boomers are the retiring generation and stop?
Somewhat sarcastic but In large part first generation to grow up expecting to retire and self funding a lot of that through their own assets vs pensions, family, etc
@leadlagreport If there is a big trade to treasuries, my thought is that it's due to recession concerns which would lead me to believe that EM wouldn't do well in that environment, what are your thoughts?
@leadlagreport So based on that thesis should we start trimming QQQ type funds with the strong out performance relative to the other sectors pictured in May?
@FIREDUpWealth Seems reasonable for a framework 4% rule right? Maybe could argue that long term rates going down makes 4% harder to achieve with minimal volatility.
