@northernassist good morning - Iโm a tad confused as to whether the 07:02 service to Carlisle from Newcastle is cancelled or not. There is one option saying it is and one saying itโs not (please see screenshot). Is this just my app feeling a bit โMonday morningโ?!
Having worked from home last week and the week before Christmas, I'm travelling to Lancaster this morning for work. I'm looking forward to in person meetings and interacting with actual humans! (I fear some colleagues may think I don't exist from the shoulders down!).
This year I am thrilled to be running in aid of @TeenageCancer Trust. Reading about this charity gave me a lot to think about while training and I hope the money I'm able to raise positively impacts someone very soon.

Travelling to Cumbria this morning to launch a project Iโve been leading on in areas non-stop on for the best part of two months. Although the sense of pride is immense, this is the first time Iโve properly felt nervous about work. A character building experience? ๐ค
Out of office is on and away to London to be in a studio audience tomorrow - cannot wait for the break but canโt help but worry about how a Northumberland countryside boy is going to navigate the big city ๐ค
@mrjkwilson Absolutely love this! Iโm in the middle of delivering a briefing paper on a โStudent Panelโ - although in different a context, it would be interesting to compare notes!
What a start to the week, another positive meeting with the Vice Chancellor but not in a meeting room... oh no, in true Cumbria style while walking her dogs and having a chat about continued improvement!
What a week! After the appointment to a new role a month ago, this week has easily the best. Open days, meetings, vibrancy work, refurbishments and more
A highlight was stepping back to look at what we have achieved in the past month and the pride was immense!
Today was restart the heart day, an event with such a purpose.
The guide below is an overview from my knowledge sessions with @DCHSalnwick last year.
I am looking forward to sharing more resources with vital information in the coming weeks.
@AvantiWestCoast Iโm horrified by the amount of last minute, out of the blue cancellations. I know you have a shortage of drivers but this is a shortage you know of 2 days before, when a customer is able purchase their ticket in the 2/3 day window you gave!!
