Once again, SSDI is not a charity. It is disability insurance that you pay for everytime you earn a paycheck. And you have to work long enough to be eligible to receive it.

I have ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia. My mother tried to help me by going to the mayor's office. I am being put out, not for non-payment of rent, but because our landlord can get us out faster by publicly characterizing us as drug addicts and potentially dangerous to children.

I am no drug addict, have never had drug charges, and was never in rehab. Our apt building is being demolished so I have to move. My landlord is covered, but the organization that wants us out will have to evict us.
