@ThePrimeagen I don't even have a layout system, mostly just drawInFrame. "Components" implement their own layouts, which are mostly trivial. Bigger problems like ui-tearing or inter-dependent interactions get solved separately too. As a result - very simple code until complexity is required.
@valigo@windless_mill You can also write crossplatform in C , and just for Apple compile it as "-x objective-c" with actual ObjC code behind an #ifdef. Saw that trick in miniaudio and tried it out literally just yesterday :)
@valigo It feels incredible learning by using these tools when already quite experienced in the field.
I only worry that I'm getting too attached to the tools, and missing out on all the things I didn't think to ask.
Is there no way to reliably contact any human from @etihad
Calling is not an option, chat says "more than 12 people in the queue" and mostly scammers are replying. Can I please get a reply to my DM to @EtihadHelp
@etihad@EtihadHelp one leg of my flight on 8.03 between bangkok - abu dahbi - frankfurt has been moved, making it impossible to make the connection. What can I do about this?
@valigo I still find it hilarious how this whole thing was supposed to allow the user to program without any skill, but since it doesn't actually work, all these "prompting skills" appeared just to shift the blame back on the user. You're holding it wrong strikes back.
"I use AI in a separate window. I don't enjoy Cursor or Windsurf, I can literally feel competence draining out of my fingers."
@dhh, the legendary programmer and creator of Ruby on Rails has the most beautiful and philosophical idea about what AI takes away from programmers.
