@Rasberry_TR@guerostacobar It's very political. If you know local politics you'll often see local leaders there. Also a favorite of former Texas Governor Ann Richards and Bill Clinton! https://t.co/C9u4sCoHFA
😂 WATCH: Secretary of State Marco Rubio slammed the House Foreign Affairs Committee after a hearing took an unusual turn, with a Democratic lawmaker criticizing him over the size of his shoes instead of discussing foreign policy.
During the hearing, Democratic Rep. Sara Jacobs argued that Rubio does not understand what “winning” means.
JACOBS: “And just like you couldn’t admit that the shoes the president bought you were too big, you clearly don’t know what winning means.”
RUBIO: “I don’t know what shoes she’s talking about. What is she talking about?”
JACOBS: “Your shoes look very nice today, Mr. Secretary.”
RUBIO: “How can you see them? They’re way down here. We’re talking about shoes. Are you guys kidding me? I mean, is this the Foreign Affairs Committee, or is this like a circus?”

Prayers. This is just minutes of a walk from my mom's house; a neighborhood that was built when Bergstrom was an Air Force Base for military families. As a teen, I walked by this going to work. My mom often wants to walk to stores, but I plead with her it's just not safe anymore.
Austin police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who left an Air Force firefighter critically injured in South Austin this past weekend. https://t.co/oJubP95VzA
@austinreforms@JenRobichaux Don’t forget Austin Transit Partnership Project Connect Exec Greg Canally at $400,000/yr also completely paid for by Austin Property Taxpayers. The only thing Project Connect is connecting to is your wallet.
@AustinJustice I assume these are just the ones that were actually charged. Multiple times I week, I've seen naked men & women & lewd acts throughout ATX. I'm curious how many 911 calls were called on this crazy lady was out there quite a while giving drivers a show! https://t.co/qiPqcI6TR4
🚨Spotted just now on @CapMetroATX: Jamie Morris, an extremely violent repeat offender who harasses small businesses repeatedly.
She is known for throwing hot coffee at women and children, and threatening them with golf clubs.
She is currently smoking street drugs on the bus.
@AustinJustice I also think that's why there are seemingly so many hit and runs. I've been in two in the past few years and both times, my dash cam was able to catch the license plate so my insurance was able to subrogate the claims. APD refused to investigate so the drivers got away with it.
@AustinJustice After the second time we should have been having conversations about serious jail time.
After the thirtieth time, we should have been having conversations about throwing out every judge and politician letting this system persist.
Being tough on crime would’ve prevented this.
Why is there so much trash in Texas waterways?
We went to find out! In this episode, @bradswail interviews Mike Garver, founder of @buffalobayou and @RecycleTexas, and Field Operations Manager Robby Robinson to learn about the scale of the problem and what can be done to solve it.
Recorded in Houston after a live tour of Buffalo Bayou, the conversation explores what the team saw on the water — and why the problem is far bigger than most people realize.
Contrary to common assumptions, most of the trash isn’t dumped directly into rivers or bayous — it comes from everyday litter on streets, which is carried by rainwater into the broader water system, ultimately, ending up in the ocean.
@AleshireLaw And now City Council wants to buy AISD school property AISD is forced to sell, but too AISD will lose more revenue when the city buys it up for their destructive progressive efforts
