奥密克戎已在天津传播了至少十几天，12月28日已传到河南安阳，大家猜猜有没有传到离天津更近、更密切的北京、河北？我猜有，而且已不少，报不报道是另一回事。中国做全民核酸检测时为了减少假阳性会把阈值设得很高，相应地增加了假阴性，导致病毒载量较少的奥密克戎感染查不出。当然领导不懂这些。

@fangshimin 已经说了科学界主流反对那个宣言，不是我的个人意见，没必要��纠结我是干啥的吧。防疫涉及到的方面很多，这三个搞理论的人的提出的方法没有可行性这是搞防疫工作的人的主流意见，事实上也没有一个国家成功应用了他们建议的方法。这和三个都是自己领域顶级人才没什么关系。

@fangshimin 一个做传染病理论研究，一个研究卫生保健政策的经济学评估，真的很懂防疫吗？科学界主流是反对那个宣言的，这不是我的个人意见。目前的实际数据也不支持那个宣言的观点。我起初也觉得他们说的有点道理，但理论上说得通实际不可行的东西太多了，理论和实际不符的时候还是只能承认现实。

@BeauTFC Also want to point out statistics don't lie; people do. Statisticians are not the ones who help people lie using statistics. That's not what we do. We develop methods and models to correctly interpret the data, just like what Wald did 80 years ago. 2/2

@BeauTFC Beau, great video. Just want to point out Wald is a statistician. He was in the Statistical Research Group (SRG) as you pointed out. His major contributions are all in mathematical statistics. Institute of Mathematical Statistics has memorial lectures named after him. 1/2

Findings from @NEJM paper: blood clotting caused by the AZ vaccine is causal, but the risk is very rare (1/100,000), & more rare among older people, 0.2/100,000. The risk of severe COVID is much higher for older people without vaccination, >14/100,000. Nice risk&benefit analysis

@ayuan1000 文章不错，不过中间有段把中国的平均投资回报率和商铺和写字楼的售价的关系搞反了，平均投资回报率低本身应该有利于售价上升，还是供应太多，空置率增加导致虽然租金没降，商业房产投资回报率还是下降了，连下降后的平均投资回报率都达不到，才导致售价下降。

@fangshimin 3:1的三期临床试验不多见，因为要得到同样的结果比1:1需要多招差不多1/3的人。老方可能是怀疑本来1:1做的三期临床对照组人数少报了。这个目前还没什么���据。不过腺病毒疫苗这么高的保护效力确实有点意外。
