@SahilBloom Feynman said if you only understand a thing if you can explain it to a five year old. Feynman also said quantum mechanics is so weird that no one understands it. The two claims cannot both be true. Personally I think they're both false.
@QiaochuYuan Feynman said if you're smart enough you can explain any concept to a layman. Feynman also said quantum mechanics is so weird that no one understands it. The two claims cannot both be true. Personally I think they're both false.
@GaryHaynes1201@grok@esjesjesj@elonmusk Can you just say what _you_ think are these nontextbook aspects of socialism that the Nazi party adhered to, instead of trying to get grok to say it?
@CincinnatiaE@estherzelda0514 She seems to be confusing BCE with CE. Or BC with AD, if you prefer. The critics of Christopher Columbus's barbarism did not live before 1600 BCE. They lived before 1600 CE.
If you're going to use BCE, maybe figure out what it means, first.
@BriannaWu settler societies excluding indigenous populations is apartheid. Britain, German, and Sweden are not settler societies. Israel, US, Aus, Rhodesia, and SA are. It's a bad comparison.
@BriannaWu Even if one accepts that framing (which I don't), European Jews holding western values settled in the Palestinian mandate. They are the settlers. They're like Rhodesia, who wanted to be more British than Britain, but in Africa. You sound like a Rhodesia apologist. Or SA apartheid
@bashbaeby@ChargePointnet this is exactly what happened to me too. when I called on Monday, they told me to wait three days. Nothing changed in those three days. Now what?
@InstaBlocks@ChargePointnet Between the two doubled billings, and the failed balance topup transaction, ChargePoint has debited me $122.53 without crediting my account. I need a refund on that amount.
Looking at the replies to the CP twitter account, many people are having the same problem
@ChargePointnet Hi, I have been double charged by chargepoint for two chargeups, plus a 100 negative balance topup, and I need some help getting refunded
@InstaBlocks@ChargePointnet This happened to me twice, for two different chargeups, at two different charging stations.
Additionally, while my acct balance was neg due to the apparent txn failure, CP billed me 100 balance topup. This txn was also reported failed, and my CP account was not credited the $100
@DanielWhiteson Physicists are notorious for not caring about tricky analytic questions like when you are allowed to commute limits. This is the same thing.
@DanielWhiteson It's just a convenient way to talk about limits. "If a frame has velocity v relative to some initial inertial frame, in the limit as v goes to c, Delta t' and Delta L' go to zero. By definition has length and a clock, so the limiting case is not a valid frame".
