@Uber_Support Unfortunately, @Uber_Support@ubereats_uk refused to take accountability for this and referred me to the McDonalds website. The only option was an AI who couldn't help. Chargeback it is, you've had your chance to help
@ubereats_uk delivered my @McDonaldsUK order in a soaking wet bag. Drink missing, Big Mac box soaked the food is inedible, now in the bin the entire order is now in the bin.
Resolution offered: a £3.08 refund for the missing drink. When I raised the soaked food - 1/
, I was told my "feedback will be documented" and the chat was closed on me.
Would either of you eat this?
I'd like a full refund and for you to respect my consumer rights. Failure to do so will result in a chargeback via my bank.

that'll be 24 people loose by tomorrow without any legal restrictions; each person could spread the virus asymptomatically for up to 7 more weeks until they are quarantined and contact tracing commences. whether this leads to a major outbreak or not is being left purely to chance
and we saw how self isolation was frequently breached in the last pandemic? Have you learned nothing? How can we trust you to keep us safe when both guidelines from the WHO and common sense tell us you're wrong?
@wesstreeting@UKHSA@NHSEngland
Why are the passengers evacuated from the ferry only being required to quarantine for 3 days at the hospital then trusted to self isolate for a further 42 days, when it's clear a 3 day period is insufficient to guarantee they're virus free
@DoobLontonder@m1k3sowavy@judeinlondon Ah, okay, so it's the second option then. An expectation that a man with an incurable neurological disorder constantly apologise for his actions that he has no control over to make other people feel better.
I'll file this one under ableist.
@DoobLontonder@m1k3sowavy@judeinlondon excluded in anyway and in fact, can't be legally. The only other way I think you can be interpreted is that you think a man suffering from an incurable neurological disorder apologise each and every time his incurable neurological disorder potentially causes offense, which is
@DoobLontonder@m1k3sowavy@judeinlondon It also wasn't live, it was pre-recorded. There's a little law in the UK called the Equality Act 2010 which generally means we don't expect disabled people to segregate themselves from society, no matter how much the small minded believe it should be the case.
@hoppymeow@twitchyspoonie result in them being offended. Is it that far of a leap to think that the guy who has a form of Tourettes named Coprolalia (affecting 10 to 30% of those with the condition), causing him to say inappropriate things involuntarily, is also aware of various slurs and contexts
@bryan_johnson @AndrewL09167643 It might be out the remit of what you're trying to do but are you considering that certain interventions may not be applicable for all people?
For example, exosomes are only beneficial in a subset of the population?
@ArchieHall Back of the packet maths, if there's an incident of shoplifting there's only a 0.15% chance of being convicted.
Even if you only count police reports that's still a chance of 6.98%.
Effectively open season for shoplifting
@BenRamanauskas You lived on a council estate? We could only dream of such luxury . We had to live in a rolled up newspaper at the side of the road and we liked it.
@EllStats @adamfc2000@_bezpilotnik "Wah I'd rather sound right in my little bubble than present things in a way that doesn't alienate people and actually improve living standards for everyone"
