@bubbling_creek@wesyang@dilanesper By collectively decide, you mean put into law or? Because if you don't put it into law then you'd be exactly where we are now. A collective is made of individuals, even if you somehow got 100% of people to agree on something, their behavior might not align with it, and then what?
@chudpoasting@jonatanpallesen I reached the same conclusion but you explained it better.
For me, her answer in the interview hinges on the fact she knows that she gets woken up twice on tails.
@jonatanpallesen So she knows she will be awoken twice on tails? She just can't tell if she was already awoken so every time she is awoken is the same from her perspective. But the chance that she was awoken on tails is 2/3s, so she should guess 33% chance for heads.
@tracewoodgrains Are you not misunderstanding what Nathan is saying?
I don't think he's saying raising kids properly and instilling proper values doesn't matter. He's saying it doesn't matter in regards to IQ, as in it won't affect their adult IQ. At least that's how I understood it.
@AverageRoman1@sleepy_devo There is one thing about women that's pretty monolithic tho.
Also your argument is almost word for word gender critical, in fact it goes against the definition of gender identity.
@jk_rowling I disagree, "trans" could be an adjective, short for "transgender". The issue is that "trans(gender) woman", written as 2 words, MEANS "an adult female who is transgender", or "trans-man".
@chris_cross1498@runthinkwrite@Healthy_Control This irks me the most as well, why was this language so easily ceded to activists.
"trans women are women" is an actually true statement,
"trans-women are women" isn't.
@Jungroan All of this should be a choice on the atlas tree, this is a perfect example of things a person might want to have control over.
eg. Make a node that has choice between a bonus reward vs all the bosses spawn at the same time.
