@SleeperCowboys@JFowlerESPN That’s the biggest concern, if the Cowboys defense becomes even middle of the pack the team has a real shot at a playoff run.
@skipperjenkins_ It’s certainly not a given, look at the Big 3 in Tennis. Odds are no one will surpass those 24 grand slams or have the clay dominance Rafa had. Or the dominance Federer achieved in the early 2000/
@HomelessNeenja@UnfilteredSoccr What immediately comes to mind was the interview he did before the World Cup where he said this was just another tournament. It could be that he feels extremely apathetic towards the USMNT and international competition as a whole. What spanish speakers call a "pecho frio"
@cowlonfull Amen lmao, Clemson routinely has mutliple starters from Africa. Last time I went to a Clemson soccer game 10 of 11 starters were foreign. It is the same deal with College tennis. People are unaware of the amount of foreign players in collegiate sports.
I’m crying man USMNT twitter just calling our players pussies for 12 hours straight while Brazilian Twitter is writing thesis projects on Neopentecostalism contributing to the downfall of the fabric of the national team
@aidenlufc Across all sports home field advantage is a real thing. Leeds had a .105 win percentage on the road, Arsenal’s away record was fantastic but even then the drop off between 2 being Man City at a .474 and Aston Villa at third drops to .368. It’s a real thing but it’s overplayed.
@bloozm111@GHorsfall The demographics have definitely changed not denying that. But home field advantage is still a real thing across all sports. I think it’s soemthing that should be factored but maybe not at the level some are claiming
@KasperStats Targeting is literally a rule in CFB that has been arbitrarily applied in the past. Flags in football such as holding or roughing the passer are not always “fair”
Too many people have made broad generalizations about the sport without being introspective about American sports.
