this is the MOST IMPORTANT POST you will ever read on L2s and how they creative MASSIVE value for Ethereum and ETH through relatively inexpensive security from L1:

1) Ethereum makes it cheap for L2s to settle on L1 through blobs in EIP-4844
2) L2 developers work to create highly desirable blockspace (through healthy ecosystems and cutting edge features and scale it)
3) well-operated L2s become HIGHLY profitable business models and settle HUGE amounts of economic activity with massive numbers of transactions
4) more companies and other organizations see this rush to build on Ethereum L2s
5) L2s (when properly decentralized) will provide censorship-resistant access to ETH and thus scale the use of ETH as a medium of exchange and store of value money-like asset
6) an inescapable center of gravity to build on Ethereum forms, and soon EVERYONE is doing it because everyone else is doing it. ETH will be a preferred money for almost all of these L2s (especially for long-term use in smart contracts due to is censorship-resistance)
7) L1 fees continue to rise over time as there is always demand to settle there, and this is sufficient to keep ETH supply flat and usually deflationary
8) L2s eventually move to interoperate with one another based on tech evolution and customer demand
9) ETHEREUM IS SUDDENLY THE DE FACTO GLOBAL SETTLEMENT LAYER and ETH IS THE NATIVE PROGRAMMABLE MONEY OF THAT SETTLEMENT LAYER
