all codex / @ChatGPT needs to be legendary:
> an agent with an ongoing assignment,
> a workspace,
> and somewhere to bring me finished work + approval requests.
imagine saying “work on this idea all week. research the gaps, improve the prototype. ask before publishing or spending.”
Meanwhile the new ChatGPT build just added 59 files. Here's what's in them 👀
🗂️ Mission Control: one table of every Work task. Working, ready for you, blocked, done
📄 Page templates in Space: pick "Weekly update" and ChatGPT fills it from your chats + apps
🎨 Sketch → image in Pages, then remove the background or extend the scene
🛠️ Codex on GitHub: makes its own worktrees, attaches live to cloud tasks, shows cost in $
None of it announced yet 😄
Dots are here!
A new way to use AI that works 24/7 for you; get more of your time and attention back to work at a higher level.

dot is my favorite openai product so far!
it is amazing to me that each day it feels noticably better as it learns more of my workflow and style.
having it do the stuff i don't like doing--and usually just builds up as a gravity well of dread--has me very happy.
ive been leveraging ai to teach me topics in ways i like to learn
built a memory simulator: pick the hardware, OS (Linux, macOS, Windows) and apps, then watch what happens when you run out of RAM
here: an 11 GB game on a 16 GB machine pushing Photoshop and Slack's idle memory out to swap
for those that don't grasp how crazy this is
GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst vs Ideogram 4.5
and by the way it's likely just simple masking/in-painting but it still surprises me it's not the default for the majority of image editing models.
you can tell it's in-painting because you can see the bush around my shoulder slowly turn into a line. it's the same reason my tattoos fade on why side of my arm (the closest to my t-shirt).
no excuse for chopping of half of my head though.
I'm going to have to try a workflow where I use this on every frame of a video.
@The_Alex We’re going to fix this but it’s a bit funny as your dot literally has to decide whether to pick up or not and sometimes it might just be busy with something else 👀
I built Apple Reminders…inside ChatGPT.
This is real, and it's a native ChatGPT Extension you can try right now. Free and open source.
Version 2.0 of my Reminders CLI, RemCTL, is out now with complete support for MCP and the brand new @OpenAIDevs MCP Extensions.
With RemCTL 2.0, you have a power-user interface for Reminders inside ChatGPT for Mac. You can use keyboard shortcuts, there's a ⌘K palette, and view tasks as lists, Kanban, or Calendar. It's basically "Reminders Pro".
But most importantly, you can work with ChatGPT in this Reminders UI and ask it to do whatever you want. Attach any task to a conversation, or select multiple ones and pass them to ChatGPT. I was inspired by @danshipper's concept of "Codex apps", and when I saw @mxstbr's announcement yesterday, I knew what to do.
This feels like a brand new way of getting work done, and I'm excited to build more.
Have fun!
