@edinhelp The cycle signal on the Northbound cycleway at the FotW showing a Green light for cyclists to proceed staright across the junction at the same time as vehicles are truning left. Please either get it switched off or more permanently covered up. A highly dangerous issue!
Great to see that @Edinburgh_CC expressed the pedestrian crossing from Picardy Place tram stop to the mainland (Cathedral area). The absence Gad been putting many people at serious risk. (The car was stopped - had been in a q) @CllrScottArthur
@johnrobson87@justacwab@AvGeekAlex My understanding is cycle signal ionly green when cyclists can go left, ahead & right and that it’s an all greens phase for cyclists whilst everything else is stopped. This to avoid a 2-stage right turn but makes
It very inconvenient for left and right turners. Needs a rethink!
I'm sad to see my colleague @DrCarolineBrown leaving @HeriotWattUni, but she will be a great asset to @RTPIPlanners
Her appointment is a reminder that planners have a huge role as we respond to the climate and biodiversity crises.

@EdinburghTrams@JackRMCaldwell Signs needed at Picardy Place stop to direct folk to ESJ. Loads of people being caught out by the lack of a crossing to York Place and takes ages via Broughton St. And 3 stages. Dangeroud trying to cross - barriers useless. 13 people from 1 tram!
@beansontoast@EdinburghTrams@JackRMCaldwell @CllrScottArthur Not had a reply but They’re making good progress. TtN works not due to complete 15th August so hopefully these might too???!!!!
@johnrobson87@edinhelp@TramstoNewhaven They say there’s not room on the wee island. The compromise will be to make the toucan at the west end of the tram stop into 2-way with an advisory cycle way down to the London Rd junction.
