Arch Linux user. Long time player of Red Orchestra mod for UT2004. HUGE Commodore C64 fan! Love many retro computers - Tandy M100/T102/200, Oric Atmos etc.
@gregnacu I've had 2 Amiga PSUs which both had open circuit chokes. I was able to fix them with a few blobs of solder. The fault could only be seen when they were removed from the board. Two separate PSUs!
@ezContents Were the jumper wires part of the same kit or separate? I've been considering getting something like that for a while for bread board experiments.
@theretrojames75 @facebook I wanted to change my DoB on FB (long story) & in the dropdown for year of birth it allowed any year up to 2022!! So I picked 2022! Why would you allow someone to pick this option? Anyway, I immediately lost my account as I was then under age! They gave an option to be 1 y.o.!!
@theretrojames75 @facebook Once you tag FB on twitter you will get so many bot replies telling you to contact Joe Bloggs on instagram etc he helped restore my account. Wait & see. FB is the worst company to try and contact and you're right about the mistakes it lets you make.
@8BitBoyzRetro I think the page is formatted to US Legal size. When printed on A4 it's just not quite right. But thanks for going to the bother of putting this out there.
@PaulieHughes I have a Panasonic one. Not sure of the model. They usually need to be hardware modded to allow the drive to read both sides of the disk (if it's a flippy disk). I've used it with both KF and GW and have to say GW is the more straightforward way. KF has a nice GUI though.
@8BitShowAndTell I didn't realise there was a time limit to complete C64 games :O I still play the game for pure entertainment. I haven't passed level 8 or 9 and didn't know what happened later on in the game. :(
