It feels like there is a coordinated effort to get rid of the people that are genuinely invested in improving UX of web3.. This sucks.

Since X is downgrading many of my rotki posts I've been trying to increase distribution of rotki by using reddit.

There is the /r/cryptotax subreddit and lots of interesting discussion happens there but the mods are actively against underdogs like us.

They have banned me twice already for even so much as mentioning rotki as a potential solution. The last ban came when a user complained that Summ, a SaaS solution, messed up their data and they have lost it all with no recourse. Exactly what I talked about in my dappcon talk.

But no, you are not allowed to even mention your product there even if it's the right exact solution for the user's problem. At the same time the subreddit is full of small bot-like accounts telling people to use Koinly.

Can't say if the mods are in on it but the result is the same. In the end that results in a user coming here and thinking that the only solution to crypto taxes is giving up your data to Koinly and having it leaked in their next data leak.

How insane is this?!?!

@its0xMike @jaredsmev In a moral sense, jaredfromsubway.eth has been a parasite in between simple tokens swaps despite operating within the rule of the chain (MEV). The hacker followed the same logic: optimize for max extraction 🤷‍♂️
