BREAKING: Airlines will now have to pay you when they mess up.
The Department of Transportation has issued a new rule requiring airlines to give you an automatic refund if your flight is canceled or delayed or if they lose your bags.
It’s a game changer for U.S. travel.
Today Michigan is officially no longer a "right to work" state.
Michigan is now the first state in nearly 60 years to ditch the union-busting law.
Public school workers can now collectively bargain, it's easier for unions to build power, and billionaires are furious.
@david_obrien @BrettMiller_IT @MarkSimos We’ve declared that we will deprecate blueprints in July 2026. I don’t know how these are exams are put together or who is responsible for them though.
Happy to work with Mark if he is that person.
@mraleph I was just looking for exactly this and can't believe it doesn't! The friction of GH PRs is important for record keeping, but not for quick iterations which is what the gist is for
TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT: Join me and @sagaftra President @frandrescher for a special discussion about the ongoing strike and the fight against corporate greed. Tune in at https://t.co/vreIiWfeoS
@david_obrien You would have to do something like:
* Query the resource (i.e. "az vm show")
* Check the properties of the resource to determine if it should be deployed or not
* Pass in a boolean value to the deployment (i.e. "param deployVm bool")
* Conditionally deploy based on that param
@david_obrien I understand KV is only one example. The best practice for working around the other cases may be different.
The most extreme workaround would be to check state of the resource before the deployment (in a pipeline) or use a deployment script to check state w/in a deployment
@david_obrien Bicep isn't trying to remove access policies, the KV API is. Access Policies are now discouraged for this reason.
I agree it's problematic. Our philosophy (maybe to a fault) has been to get the RP APIs fixed, but that of course has its own downsides.
I appreciate that there are reasonable arguments against the Oxford comma (I'm Team Pro-OC), but can anyone justify this abysmal example? Genuine record-scratch level of confusing.
