This story gets so much worse. Apparently this all started because police were called out for a disturbance after her husband broke their tv out of anger after finding out his brother was killed by Israel in Gaza. The husband is Palestinian. When the police were taking him into custody his wife stopped them because she wanted to accompany him and that is when the officer threw her on the ground for “interference.” The couple was cooperative with the police the entire time and yet this is how they were treated.
She delivered the baby prematurely because of the physical trauma on her body but thankfully both she and the baby survived and are in good health. She easily could have miscarried.
This entire police department should be investigated and that officer should be arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
This individual appeared on the Israeli entity channel i24NEWS, presented under the description shown in the lower banner (1st Emirati student at an Israeli university).
He calmly says something that should unsettle anyone listening:
"We go wherever our leaders go. If they choose peace with Israel, then we choose it too."
At first glance, it might sound like loyalty. But it is something far more disturbing.
It is the quiet surrender of the self, of independent thought, of moral agency, of the very idea that individuals should question, resist, or even exist beyond what they are told to accept.
What makes it more dangerous than classic authoritarianism is that it is voluntary. No coercion here. No visible force. Just a person willingly giving up their autonomy and finding comfort in doing so.
This is exactly the kind of condition sociologists and philosophers warn about: not blind fanaticism, but something colder... simple genuine indifference. A state where people stop caring enough to think, to question, or to feel responsible.
And as Wendy Brown, political theorist, argues in her book "In the Ruins of Neoliberalism", modern systems can push people into this space, where identity dissolves into group instinct, and morality is replaced by a market logic: survival, advantage, dominance.
In that world, empathy becomes optional. Injustice becomes tolerable. Even suffering can become something people look at, even consume, and move past without a second thought.
There lies the real danger.
Not just what was said… but how easily it can be said and accepted.
Trump says they took over Venezuela, which has the second largest oil reserves in the world, and so they no longer need Middle East oil
I said the Venezuelan invasion was as much about Iran as Venezuela
Now I’m saying Israel will attack Syria,
🇹🇷 must deploy troops immediately
A video of this online live chat has gone viral in which a pro-monarchy Iranian musician thanks young Israeli women for ‘saving’ Iran through US-Israeli air strikes.
His confused guests respond by saying ‘we’re not saving them, we’re killing them.’
The UAE tried to whitewash the genocide in Sudan by interviewing the female officer who is on video telling the RSF to rape women.
This is comic-book-villain-level stupidity
