Security Advisor at CampusGuard. Nerdy before it was cool, motorcyclist, pilot (ASEL/IA), photographer, amateur musician, & arguably worst golfer on the planet.
@ImAnEnabler As well they should be. It may sound quaint, but your opinion carries the patina of experience. Some who have embraced fully automated soup-to-nuts deployment have learned these tools can destroy just as fast as they create.
"Deploy in haste, regret in leisure", right?
@pavandavuluri@TimSweeneyEpic@CR1337 If that is the case, you should seriously consider examining your written communication. Providing no specific reason for said action, while stating "No appeal is possible" is needlessly combative (and just begs a lawsuit and discovery demand in response). You can do better.
@bcrypt@Bugcrowd Yes, @Bugcrowd , name them! Submitting AI slop must be made to cost the culprits more than whatever benefit they receive, otherwise the problem will worsen. Economics always beats whack-a-mole.
@ImAnEnabler AND, right below my reply, this ad shows up. There should be a special place in Hell reserved for the purveyors of this sort of crap. "Unskippable advertising" indeed. 🤬
@dcuthbert Spring, Summer, & Fall are great, but there is something about the stark, near-monochrome hardness of Winter that I find beautiful. Add a little snow or ice on the roofs and bare tree branches and you can find yourself standing in an Ansel Adams print, in real life.
@highonc0ffee@MalwareJake The story here doesn’t have to be A-D; it could be OpenLDAP, or any other source-of-truth repository. The point, I believe, is getting participants to think about the operational fallout of changing a boatload of passwords; where the passwords are stored is kinda irrelevant.
@codedailyML Oh come on... Of 15 things you posted, only 3, the jammer, the license plate bezel, & the skimmer, are anywhere NEAR illegal, at least where we are. The HackRF, Flipper Zero, Pineapple, Alfa adapter, stripe reader/writer, Raspberry Pi w/Kali, Prox, & Turtle are fine. Sheesh...
@dcuthbert Wow. Years ago, I had a camera with that same exposure-counter window. Seeing it again brings back some memories. In many ways, chemical photography is so cool.
@MalwareJake@amazon So I’m not the only one. Good. I thought I was crazy when I noticed my Subscribe & Save coffee prices seemed to rise 20-30% a day before my order was to ship, only to drop back down to their former price a few days later. All subscriptions cancelled, needless to say.
