From “I didn’t understand…” to spending hours translating French movement science.
That’s how it all started for Coach Swope.

Even with 99.999% identical DNA, Taylor and Tyler Rogers move completely differently. At ABCA, Coach Swope discussed how even twin brothers are wired uniquely, because movement starts in the brain, not the body.

🚨 New blog article : Tailoring Athletic Coordination Through Visual Processing Profiles
👉 ... The perception of visual targets - specifically their color (e.g., red or blue) and orientation (vertical or horizontal) - can modulate motor performance. When a target's visual properties align with an individual's preferred visual processing pathway (parvocellular or magnocellular), the central nervous system (CNS) processes the visual input more efficiently. This reduces the cognitive and perceptual load, freeing up neurological resources for motor control and coordination...''

Unique, individual movement with no preconceived bias. We help players and coaches explore #MotorPreferences, unlocking their full potential for increased performance and reduced risk of injury.
Backed by science, our goal is simple: Help athletes become the best versions of themselves.
That was Day 1 at our Golf Clinic at @englishturn_gcc in New Orleans!
We dove deep into understanding, assessing, and implementing #motorpreferences —focusing on Terrestrial™️ and Aerial™️ natural movement patterns.
Questions we explored:
➡️ More Lower body Flexion or Extension?
➡️ Balance forward or backward?
➡️ High or Low Center of Gravity?
➡️ Harnessing more Horizontal or Vertical force?
➡️ etc… 👀
We also introduced natural lateral stability and how it shows up in each golfer’s game:
➡️ Right Leg Extension?
➡️ Left Leg Extension?
➡️ Or a more centered move?
We started dialing in the Move Dial to better understand weight shifting and its impact on performance.
An awesome first day with golfers who could feel the difference and start to understand how knowing their Motor Preferences can unlock their most natural, efficient swing. Posture, sensation, intention were tailored to each player’s unique movement—no one-size-fits-all here!
More to come…

We had a great time in NOLA sharing #MotorPreferences with a group of different backgrounds from NCAA level to passionate golfers.
We learned what each preference was, what their preferences are and how to apply it to their games.

Last week marked a significant step forward for Golf Motor Preferences in the United States, as we continued to share our unique approach to natural movement patterns and how golfers can train and perform based on their innate biomechanics.
We spent several days at the prestigious Isleworth Country Club in Orlando, working closely with multiple-time PGA Tour winner D.A. Points. Through in-depth discussions, assessments, and hands-on implementation, we shared how Motor Preferences can unlock a golfer’s true potential by aligning technique with their natural tendencies.
The learning process in golf never stops—it evolves through passion, collaboration, and the constant pursuit of improvement. When like-minded individuals come together to share knowledge and experiences, the game grows in a way that respects each golfer’s unique identity rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model.
If you’re interested in learning more about our approach, join us next week in New Orleans for a special clinic at the University of New Orleans. This event is open to everyone—secure your spot by registering at https://t.co/2JDpPyiVXA.
Let’s continue shaping the future of golf, one swing at a time!

When training, the goal is to respect the differences between the dominant and less prevalent muscle chains while developing both. We are asymmetrical and perfectly (im)balanced!
MPE drives athlete development with science-backed methods, partnering with Volodalen’s expert team—including four PhDs—and cutting-edge movement research.

🔥At the @Volodalen laboratory, a hub of sports science innovation, researchers & engineers meticulously study sports movements, emphasizing both physical & motor qualities. Their work is focused on practical application, merging objective data with athletes’ personal experiences, & exploring the synergy between physical & mental dynamics.
🚨 The mission is clear: to elevate performance, prevent injuries, & guide each individual in mind & motion toward their optimal potential!
💪The scientific proof of motor preferences is produced by Volodalen, which also provides concrete solutions to sports professionals and athletes with reports but also technological tools such as the Vibe accelerometer.

Just because the body can handle a range of motion doesn’t mean it’s ideal to perform there.
Adaptation is great—until it isn’t, or until we get hurt. True optimization comes from understanding and using your #MotorPreferences to improve efficiency, enhance efficacy, and conserve energy.
