I've started maybe a dozen productivity systems in 15 years. Every one died the same way: maintenance.

Setup is fine. Pick the CRM, build the Notion, design a journal. Week one feels like progress. Week six the fields are blank and you're winging it again.

My Claude desktop app kept crashing last night. "Process exited with code 1." Red banner. Dead. I'm not an engineer.

So I opened Claude Code in Terminal and asked it to fix the app it lives inside.

It dug through plugin manifests, found 3 broken config files cached across different directories. Patched them. Still broken.

Then it captured a subprocess diagnostics log, reproduced the crash, and traced it to a phantom plugin reference pointing at nothing. Removed it. Fixed.

30 minutes. Zero code written by me. I followed the logic and approved the moves.

My awe with AI has grown in step with my ability to use Claude Code.
