MoU inked between University of Malakand & Association for Behaviour & Knowledge Transformation(ABKT) for joint collaboration in research, social entrepreneurship & women empowerment. The VC UoM Prof Dr Rashid Ahmad, Ms Shad Begum, CEO ABKT & ORIC Team,UoM graced the event.
Director ORIC,UoM Dr Muhammad Usman met with Ms. Shad Begum and Mr. Jan Muhammad from Association for Behaviour and Knowledge Transformation.

Deeply influenced by social inequalities around her @ShadBegum struggles to improve conditions of marginalized segments especially women of her community in northwest of #Pakistan where Taliban publically executed men & women on non-conformity to their version of Islam. @Abktsays
Despite quotas + rising awareness, women remain unrepresented in Pakistani politics, especially local government. @ShadBegum spoke with @FES_PAK about her experience as a local politician, + what needs to be done to really engage more women in politics.
