@Stammy @jeff_weinstein @atlas @AbstractOpsCo does a bunch of these on top of Atlas! Registered agent, foreign qualifications, payroll tax reg, virtual mailbox, autopay state fees.

1-click to shutdown is near-impossible, but we do have a checklist we are going to open-source soon (at https://t.co/r2vwfEo7jC).

Starting a company soon?

We built Origin to help: the exhaustive, definitive list of logistics to start a startup.

Spoiler alert, the first step is *not* incorporation.

We spent years & thousands of hours fine-tuning these steps and the vendor recs. We hope you find it useful!

[hari raghavan @haridigresses]

How many steps do you think it takes to incorporate a startup? Three? Seven?

Try 30+ 🤯.

So many of these are easy to miss. Many of them are one-way decisions.

So we spent 2+ years building the definitive checklist for incorporation and beyond: Origin.

I’ve learned a lot about what to do, and what *not* to do when seeking PMF the last few years at @AbstractOpsCo

Here’s my most surprising realization: your product doesn’t matter in achieving product-market fit.

So what does matter? The quality of the problem you’re solving. 👇

Great perspectives on PMF from ⁦@haridigresses⁩! https://t.co/AvR4AXQxcT

[hari raghavan @haridigresses]

If you're a startup founder / leader, you should be nailing but not innovating on Finance, HR, or Legal.

They are critical to scaling, but they're mostly solved problems... but based on the sheer breadth, unfamiliarity, and complexity, it doesn't seem like it.

1. These best practices and recommendations already exist in peoples' heads; we simply... wrote it down.
2. There are lots of "perks pages" but no "guides." We are building a structured guide, where you can zoom in / out, double click through abstraction layers to better understand how it works (hence @AbstractOpsCo 🙃).

Meet Composed: the startup operating guide.
I. Prelude: the jobs to be done in operating a startup
II. Origin: the definitive incorporation++ checklist
III. Progression: manage your stack through PMF & scale
IV. Epilogue: dissolving a company

Part I. Prelude: the "circuit diagram." What are all the jobs-to-be-done in operating a startup?

We've codified every notable department \ function \ responsibility that is typical in a startup (through late stage / ~500 people or so), so that you can make high-quality decisions with a big-picture view.

Could a solopreneur do $10 million in ARR?

It's not unreasonable. @haridigresses, CEO of @AbstractOpsCo, explains.

Just hit my 2 year anniversary @AbstractOpsCo! I've had the privilege of managing pay and equity of hundreds of employees, facilitating Series A rounds, and taking the back-office burden off founders. We're focused on payroll tax registration and compliance with much more 🔜🎉
