All these communists say “you just haven’t tried our version of communism”
Nah.
“YOU haven’t tried our version of capitalism”
1. Dollar on the gold standard

4. Flat 6 percent Federal tax paid at the point of sale only when you put your money into the economy.
5. No gun laws. Constitutional 2A amendment.
6. Reduce the size of the federal government by 90 percent
7. End all foreign aid effective immediately
8. Nuremberg style trials for all the turn coats and traitors who sold us out.
9. No more HB1s
10. No federal manipulation of the monetary supply via reckless printing of currency

Guatemala is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It's full of dramatic landscapes, pristine beaches, lush forests, world-class lakes. It's so pretty, in fact, if you were to rate it, it would safely rank next to Norway, New Zealand, Switzerland, Italy, and other travel destinations.
Guatemala is also full of natural resources. It has excellent land for agriculture, mountains and rivers for hydropower, large amounts of forest, minerals, and access to two oceans.
Guatemala also has a GDP of about $6,000 per person. That means the average Guatemalan has 7% of the wealth of the average American. It's considered one of the poorest countries in the world.
You may wonder, if it's so beautiful and so naturally full of resources, why isn't it more prosperous?
The biggest factor by far is a lack of strong institutions and rule of law. Guatemala does not have strong courts, reliable contract enforcement, secure property rights, or a stable environment for businesses to operate. And as a result, if someone has money to invest, they will invest it somewhere else, in some country that does have stable institutions.
Businesses, and the broader economy, rely on stable environments and strong institutions. So a business owner knows that their investment will be kept safe after they make it.
This is part of the reason I don't like people like the GTA extortionist leaker or Luigi Mangione. You will never see me defend these types of people. It's not about defending Take Two or UnitedHealthcare. It's about being against anarchy and lawlessness. The reason everyone here has such a high standard of life is precisely because we live in a place where this type of behavior isn't tolerated, accepted, or celebrated.
Yet I see the US, at least to some degree, starting to accept it. People are increasingly celebrating and defending anarchists and criminals. They do so under the guise of standing up against a "billion-dollar" company, as if a company's market cap exceeding $1 billion gives some special pass to do whatever terrible thing you want.
I'm not going to follow that path. I actually recognize how good we have it in the US and the factors that make it possible. And I don't want it to change for the worse.
And my suggestion to these people who hate all the billion-dollar companies is to move to Guatemala, a place where there are exactly zero publicly traded companies exceeding a billion-dollar market cap.
In 2001 George W Bush proposed a partial privatization plan for Social Security so you could put 10% of your SS contribution into the markets.
People rejected this.
We can now see that if it had passed, the 10% that went into the markets would have outperformed the 90% the government managed, the program would be solvent, and the average SS recipient would be receiving 2X what they currently receive.
The worst bet you’ll ever make is betting on government.
Why do we keep hearing we’re “running out of money” for Social Security but we never hear about running out of money for welfare, SNAP, Medicaid, etc?
Entitlement programs for leeches are fully funded forever, but the thing you specifically paid for isn’t?
Someone explain this.
73% of women on the titanic survived.
Only 19% of men did.
Read that again.
Even the richest men alive, class, power, status, all useless when the ship started sinking.
Hierarchy collapsed.
Gender didn’t.
“Women and children first”
Not a suggestion.
A rule men didn’t break.
Men stood there.
No panic
No begging.
Just accepted it.
They didn’t ask:
“Do I know her?”
“Is she worth it?”
“Will she remember me?”
No one asked if it was fair.
No camera.
No applause.
No second chances.
Zero return.
Full cost.
Understand this:
When survival gets limited, a man’s life becomes negotiable.
Men like that built the world.
And today?
Masculinity gets mocked.
Call it whatever you want.
But when everything collapsed, men paid first.
This isn’t opinion.
This is history.
Marc Andreessen says the person who invents a technology is the least qualified person alive to predict what it is for.
He says Thomas Edison invented the phonograph and was certain what it was for.
Edison, a devout and proper man, pictured families gathered at night listening to recorded sermons from the great preachers of the day.
Then it shipped.
And of course, it was for music.
He says inventors are too buried in the here and now to see what their creation becomes.
So when the press asks the inventors of AI to predict its future, they are asking the least qualified people alive.

Dear Muslims: My family and I have decided to move from the US to a Muslim country. We haven't picked which one yet—we're still comparing which one offers the best benefits package.
All my neighbors want to come too. And my neighbors' neighbors. And all their friends. And their friends' friends. Millions of us will show up with suitcases and a sense of entitlement.
As a large Christian community, we'll need a few small changes: Please start building churches immediately. Real churches, with nice loud bells, the kind that can be heard from the town square.
We'll also need for everyone to celebrate Christmas, and to close certain streets once a year for our processions. We may want to gather to pray to our Almighty God on your streets, in your parks, or on the lawns of your mosques.
We'll be an oppressed minority, so you'll have to be understanding and adapt to our way of life. Every supermarket must stock real pork, ham, chorizo, and bacon. And we're bringing all our dogs, so you'll need dog parks, and you'll have to smile tolerate them we walk them in front of your mosques. We want our women to be able to safely go out alone and wear shorts and tank tops. And when the weather's nice, we men like to go shirtless. We also want to drink alcohol, dance, and place an occasional bet at the horse races.
While we're at it, your religious holidays are a bit too much; they could offend the Christian community, so we'd appreciate it if you'd discreetly eliminate them. Thanks.
In schools and workplaces, our children and employees must be able to wear large crucifixes, say prayers, eat ham sandwiches in the cafeteria, and learn Christian principles without anyone getting criticized. We also demand chapels or Christian prayer rooms in every building, plus translators, because we have no intention of learning Arabic.
If any of this is rejected, please send a list of police station addresses so we can report you for discrimination, Christianophobia, racism, and anything we don't like.
One more thing: if my kids protest or burn your flag for any reason, please be understanding. I'll be sure to give them a very serious scolding.
Finally, we all want generous benefits, free housing, phones, free food, and pocket money while we "integrate" over the next three generations. Working is optional, obviously. Be patient with us, you'll get used to it.
We thank you in advance for your tolerance and compassion. After all, diversity is our strength!
Sincerely,
A Very Reasonable Christian
This is insane…
Denmark’s Ministry of Finance released official data on the net fiscal contribution of immigrants from 36 different countries…
24/26 non-Muslim nations benefit taxpayers.
All 10 Muslim nations cost Denmark money.
Bernie's argument boils down to this: "There's unequal wealth, therefore it should be seized." He doesn't allege fraud, theft, or any violation of rights. Unequal success itself becomes the offense, and identifying someone with more becomes the justification for taking it.
If you ever come to China, let me know @WR4NYGov I live northeast China.
Air quality has improved significantly and improving. My city air quality is probably similar to a average US city
Probably could drink the tap water but it’s advised not to. We have a water filter system that allows us to drink from the tap.
China is no Japan (be there this weekend) but some parts are catching up.
