A common design principle is “don’t make me think”. It might even capture an essential aspect of good (user) design. However, pushed to its extreme, it can lead to some very bad UX and frustrations. In this blog post, I will argue for an alternative. https://t.co/hTcBsXRJVe
Shoutout to @PlausibleHQ , I just set up (not Google) analytics using Plausible for a hobby project I have been working on. I really like how easy it was to set up, their GDPR and privacy friendliness (no- cookie banner) and their general open-source basis.
Cool stuff!
Will Europe regain technology leadership through quantum?
On the sidelines of @SQAConference 2022 in Helsinki, @vishalchatrath of @QuantrolOx , Niels Bultink of @Qblox, and @AdriaanRol of Orange Quantum Systems shared their perspectives.

I have recently fallen in love with a new note-taking app: @obsdmd. In this blog post, I tried to describe why I like it so much and how it made me love taking notes again.

Proud to have been nominated for the "Prins Friso Ingenieursprijs" by the Royal Institute of Engineers @KIVI_NL.
This would not have been possible without recent developments in #quantum, the Dutch ecosystem, and my colleagues @orangeqs, @QDelft, @QuantumDeltaNL
I'm very excited that our tutorial on cQED, the technology behind superconducting qubits, got published in PRX Quantum today!
Thank you Yvonne, @StevenTouzard and Chen for making it possible.

I recently got into @Subnautica and got obsessed by the design behind it and ran into this https://t.co/5xkSXEQ3f2 excellent talk on how they developed it. Very interesting thoughts on #opendevelopment, listening to users, and combining development with business. Fascinating!
Today I appeared on the "Toekomstmuziek" podcast on quantum computing (in Dutch) by Eveline Meijer together with Anne-Marije Zwerver of @QuTech_news.

Interested to find out more about superconducting systems?
Today, Prof Yvonne Y. Gao, together with @AdriaanRol, @StevenTouzard & Chen Wang, issued “A practical guide for building superconducting quantum devices” https://t.co/CviRHsuCQX
Quantify-Core 0.4 is released! This is the first beta-release of Quantify-Core by #qblox and @orangeqs. The analysis framework now includes basic analyses, example classes and documentation on how to make a custom analysis class.
