We've been investigating aster volumes and recently their volumes have started mirroring binance perp volumes almost exactly

Chart on the left is XRPUSDT on aster, you can see the volume ratio vs binance is ~1

Chart on the right is XRP perp volume on hyperliquid, where there's some decorrelation

Aster doesn't make it possible to get lower level data such as who is making and filling orders, so until we can get that data to verify if there's washtrading, aster perp volumes will be delisted

What I got away from Token2049 this year

- Prediction markets & perps are the future
- Perps = big, growing pie, red ocean
- Prediction = small, rapidly-growing pie, blue ocean, the new memecoin trenches
- AI hype is gone, more quality builders, actual fundamental emerges (shift towards infra, DeAI, and real revenue)
- While stablecoin, tokenization, and institutional adoption are happening in the West, massive retail adoption is happening in the East
- Upbit is the new Binance, Korea is the best country for retail market
- Capital markets is now a crucial part of token adoption
- Smart founders are tapping into Web2/TradFi capital rather than just Web3
- Crypto is becoming Web3 + Web2, degeness is frowned upon while professionalism is held to a high standard

Trends are pointing towards "actual" adoption and "real" moat for Crypto this time around. Super excited to where we're heading towards to.
