Harmless dogs in Phagwara have reportedly been picked up from a residential area on unverified bite complaints.

There are also reports of a dog with distemper symptoms being housed in the ABC centre along with healthy dogs.

The problem isn't community animals; it's when people take the law into their own hands. That is far more dangerous than any dog bite.
Another horrific incident at JKG Palm Court, Gaur City 2. Residents are brutally attacking community dogs with sticks and harassing those who intervene. If these dogs bite to protect themselves, they will be blamed.

मैं आम तौर पर Supreme Court के judgement पर comment नहीं करता. जिसका case है वो बोलता है. पर अगर फैसला बेज़ुबान के खिलाफ हो तो उनकी आवाज़ तो उठानी पड़ेगी. Court का आज का order, practical नहीं है, inhuman है. कल रात जब मैं हैदराबाद से लौटा तो Delhi Airport के terminal पर तीन डॉगी को देखा. गर्मी थी. जब airport का exit gate खुलता था तो वहां से ठंडी हवा आती थी. वहां वो तीनों बड़े आराम से लेटे थे. सैकड़ों लोग वहां से आ जा रहे थे, लेकिन उन्हें कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ा. अब ऐसे dogs को public places से हटाने का क्या मतलब है? कोई उन्हें कल aggressive कहकर मार डालेगा तो इसकी ज़िम्मेदारी कौन लेगा? कौन सा dog aggressive है इसका फैसला कौन करेगा? इसलिए मुझे लगता है कि court का आज का order बेज़ुबान जानवरों पर ज़ुल्म का रास्ता खोलेगा. Maneka Gandhi का idea ठीक है. अगर dogs की आबादी को कम करना है तो रास्ता एक ही है- बड़े पैमाने पर नसबंदी की जानी चाहिए. अच्छा तो होगा कि court इस बारे में सरकारों को युद्धस्तर पर काम करने का आदेश दे. #StrayDogs #SupremeCourt

🚨 MOB LYNCHING SITUATION AT MAHAGUN MYWOODS, NOIDA 🚨

Yesterday, a horrifying incident took place at Mahagun Mywoods. A mob of **100+ residents** cornered, misbehaved, and violently targeted a resident over community dogs.

When a few volunteers including Simran, Renu, Sakshi, Shilpa, and myself arrived to support her and stand up against illegal relocation and animal cruelty, the mob turned on us.

The verbal abuse hurled at our female volunteers by this "so-called educated society" was vile and disgusting:

* *"Bacha chor"* (Child thieves)
* *"Tumhara character hi aisa hai"*
* *"Jao kutton ke sath so jao"*

Is this the definition of a modern, educated society? Is this what we teach our families? The mob went so far that they even abused the police officers who arrived on the scene. Thankfully, the police rescued us from what could have easily turned into a fatal mob lynching.

The Hypocrisy of the "Safety" Argument

I have a simple question for residents and RWAs: If cruelty and illegal relocation are the solutions, why hasn't human-animal conflict been solved anywhere in decades?

Societies keep breaking the law in the name of safety, yet the problem persists. Why? Because basic biology dictates that when you illegally relocate a dog, you create a territorial vacuum and cause extreme trauma, making animals anxious and aggressive.

Illegal relocation INCREASES dog bites.

As volunteers, we NEVER justify dog bites. That is precisely why we spend our own time and money implementing Animal Birth Control (ABC) rules, vaccinating, and feeding them at designated spots to keep residents safe.

### Facts Over Fear

* At Mahagun Mywoods, there are **0 recorded dog bite cases**.
* 15+ community dogs stand fully vaccinated and sterilized as per official records.
* The local authorities tried to reason with the residents, but the mob chose violence over the law.

The fear of dog bites is valid, but the solution is never cruelty. The solution is compliance with the law. The Constitution and the ABC Rules were framed after years of expert discussion for the betterment of the nation. Yet, RWAs and AOAs refuse to implement the law, choosing chaotic vigilantism instead.

A Wake-Up Call to the Silent Majority

To every pet parent, feeder, and neutral resident staying silent because you "don't want to get involved": Your silence today will become a threat to your own family tomorrow.

I am not asking you to support anything wrong. I am asking you to stand by your Constitution. The law is the only shield that protects us all

Our problem is neither the residents nor the dogs the problem is the failure to implement the rules.

I will soon be demanding a formal meeting with the Noida Authority to push for mandatory, strict implementation of ABC rules in every single residential society to ensure peace and safety for all.

Heartbroken! A wild male elephant was gunned down (2 bullets on his head) and had its trunk chopped off in the Sonapur Forest Range (Assam-Meghalaya border). If this kind of gruesome brutality is making it to the light, imagine the horrors that go unseen.

How much more silent suffering must these animals endure before we see real surveillance? We are failing our wildlife.

A few days back, I lost a case in Supreme Court as a petitioner — fighting for past few yrs to save a forest.

Supreme Court Order :
Cut down 120 acre forest in heart of Delhi.

Following will die :
1. 25000+ Trees
2. Peacocks (National Bird of India)
3. 50+ Nilgai (protected under the wildlife act)
4. Monitor Lizards (protected under the wildlife act)
5. Snakes (protected under the wildlife act)
6. 65 species of Birds (both Indian and foreign species)
7. Water bodies

> But Supreme Court Cut it down

> SC exclaims on this logic that the land didn't have a forest cover before and this natural forest grew on its own OMG ....

ऐसे जालिम लोगों के खिलाफ सख्त से सख्त कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए..
कानून शायद इनको उनके कर्म की सजा न दे सके.. लेकिन हमारी और आपकी बद्दुआएं इनको वो सजा देंगी, जो इनके पुरखे याद रखेंगे..

On 16 April, in Greater Noida’s Palm Olympia society, officials from the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority arrived to catch dogs with no proof of a bite and no incident report.

The only “complaint” was that the dog barks at night. Barking is not a crime. Acting on such baseless complaints is illegal.

These dogs were already sterilised and vaccinated as per law. Removing them violates the rules of humane coexistence.

The feeder, a woman from Assam, was subjected to vile racist abuse. She was told she is “not Indian” and accused of eating dogs. This is not just cruelty, it is discrimination.

This is unlawful and unacceptable.

Amidst congested traffic, scorching heat, blaring horns, and thick exhaust fumes, Elephants walk in a line through the chaos.

Every morning, from Hatigon Village to Amber Fort in Jaipur, these Elephants travel nearly 3 kilometers only to begin a day of carrying tourists up the hill. By evening, they walk the same distance back.

A journey of at least 6 kilometers every day.

On hard and hot ground of the roads.

Under extreme conditions.

For tourists, the ride may feel exciting and an unforgettable view of a historic place.

But behind that experience is a life of exhaustion, routine, and silent suffering.

How many people have followed the full journey these Elephants endure before and after the ride?

Too often, we see only our experience and not the cost to another life.

True travel should never come at the expense of another being. The most meaningful tourism is responsible tourism guided by compassion, awareness, and respect.

If you love Elephants, please do not support Elephant riding or any form of exploitation.
