ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ SIR ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ – ಇದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ.

ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಪಿಐ ಪಕ್ಷ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಜಾತ್ಯಾತೀತ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ Special Intensive Revision (SIR) ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾದ Enumeration Forms Filling Process ಗೆ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಆದರೆ, ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸಿದರೆ, ಈ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಕೇವಲ 8ರಿಂದ 12 ದಿನಗಳಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಅಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸಮಂಜಸ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಐದುವರೆ ಕೋಟಿ ಮತದಾರರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಭಾರೀ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಮತದಾರರನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಅವಧಿ ನೀಡುವುದು ಜನರ ಮತದಾನದ ಹಕ್ಕಿನ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಗಂಭೀರ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.

ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳು, ಅಕ್ಷರಾಸಕ್ತಿ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇರುವವರು, ಬಡವರು, ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವರ್ಗ—all these sections will struggle to complete the process within such a short timeframe. ಇದು ಅನೇಕ ಅರ್ಹ ಮತದಾರರನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸುವ ಅಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಜನರ ಪ್ರಜಾಸತ್ತಾತ್ಮಕ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ, SIR ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 6 ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ವಿಸ್ತರಣೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ಹೃದಯವೇ ಮತದಾನದ ಹಕ್ಕು. ಅದನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ಮೇಲಿದೆ.

ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೃಹತ್ ಉಚಿತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣಾ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಸಂಧರ್ಭ.

ಇಂದು ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೂರುಲ್ಲಾ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಬಳಗದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ, RK ಸೂಪರ್ ಸ್ಪೆಷಾಲಿಟಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಪ್ತಗಿರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ಬೃಹತ್ ಉಚಿತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತಪಾಸಣಾ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ದೊರಕಿತು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಇಂದಿನ ಆಧುನಿಕ ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೃದಯ, ನರ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಗಂಭೀರ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅನೇಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದೆ.

ಬಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯಮ ವರ್ಗದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಇಂತಹ ಶಿಬಿರಗಳು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿವೆ. ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ BPL ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂತ್ಯೋದಯ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಹೊಂದಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದರೆ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಜನಪರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ನೂರುಲ್ಲಾ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳ ಬಳಗ, ವೈದ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಾ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನರಿಗೆ ನೆರವಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹಾರೈಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಇಂತಹ ಶಿಬಿರಗಳ ಸದುಪಯೋಗ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

A government's strength lies in its ability to enforce the law against wrongdoers, not in restricting the freedoms of millions of innocent citizens. If there are concerns regarding misuse of any digital platform, those responsible should be identified and prosecuted through due process. Blanket restrictions on communication platforms undermine civil liberties and set a worrying precedent for democratic rights.

Despite the Karnataka Government's clear instructions, workers of Hindu Jagarana Vedike reportedly distributed saffron shawls to students outside a college in Hubballi. This incident comes at a time when the government has maintained a ban on saffron shawls and saffron turbans inside classrooms, classifying them as political symbols rather than traditional religious attire.

@HMOKarnataka @DgpKarnataka @sp_dharwad @compolhdc If any organization or individuals are found violating government orders and the regulations of educational institutions, the concerned authorities should investigate the matter and take appropriate legal and administrative action. Educational institutions must remain peaceful, free from unnecessary controversy and division, and focused on learning, so that students' education and future prospects are not adversely affected.

ಜನರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ SIR ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿ, ಈ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ಸಂಘಟಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಅಲ್ಲ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಹೋರಾಟವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ, ಇತರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತ್ಯಾತೀತ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಈ ಹೋರಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದವು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ವಿಶೇಷವೆಂದರೆ, ಹಲವಾರು ಯುವ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಸಹ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಬಿರುಬಿಸಿಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಅಜ್ಜನ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರಾದ #ಹಾಲೇಶಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ನಮ್ಮ ಹೋರಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿತು.

ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಪಿಐ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ, ನ್ಯಾಯ, ಸಮಾನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

A resounding voice echoed in Davanagere against SIR!

I participated in and addressed the protest held today (May 30, 2026) in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Davanagere, organized by the joint anti-SIR coalition of secular parties and various pro-democratic organizations.

This protest was organized to condemn the SIR policy, which undermines people’s rights and threatens democratic values. This is not just a protest—it is a powerful movement to protect our constitutional rights.

Except for the BJP and the JD(S), all other secular parties and organizations actively participated in this movement.

On this occasion, a memorandum was also submitted to the Chief Minister through the Additional Deputy Commissioner.

Notably, along with many young activists, women also participated actively. Even under the scorching sun, a senior freedom fighter of my grandfather’s age, #Haleshappa, participated with great enthusiasm, which provided immense inspiration to our struggle.

Along with SDPI leaders and cadres, we strengthened our voice for justice, equality, and the protection of people’s rights.

People’s unity and awareness are the greatest strengths against injustice.

If beef export companies are operating in BJP-ruled states like Uttar Pradesh, then serious questions must be asked. Is there no concern for the same ‘Gau Mata’ and religious sentiments that are constantly spoken about in public speeches?

Before preaching to others about cow protection, the BJP should first stop accepting donations from beef export companies through Electoral Bonds. Reports of 30 crores Every Year donations from such companies expose a clear contradiction between political speeches and actual practice.

If cow slaughter laws exist, then they must be implemented strictly through the Constitution and legal authorities, not through mobs, self-proclaimed vigilantes, or people taking the law into their own hands. No individual or group has the authority to assault, threaten, or harass citizens in the name of cow protection.

The Supreme Court of India has already directed state governments to appoint dedicated police officers in every district to prevent vigilantism and protect citizens from cow-related violence. Those directives must be implemented sincerely and without bias.

Some people are trying to disturb communal harmony and create tension in society, therefore it is extremely important to keep such elements under control and take firm action against anyone attempting to disrupt peace.

இதுதொடர்பாக எஸ்டிபிஐ கட்சியின் மாநிலத் தலைவர் முகம்மது முபாரக் வெளியிட்டுள்ள அறிக்கையில் கூறியிருப்பதாவது:

தவெக தலைமையிலான தமிழக அரசின் அமைச்சரவை விரிவாக்கத்தில், கூட்டணிக் கட்சியான இந்திய யூனியன் முஸ்லிம் லீக் கட்சியின் பாபநாசம் தொகுதி சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் ஷாஜகான் அவர்களுக்கும், விடுதலைச் சிறுத்தைகள் கட்சியின் திண்டிவனம் தொகுதி சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர் வன்னி அரசு அவர்களுக்கும் அமைச்சரவையில் இடமளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதை எஸ்டிபிஐ கட்சி வரவேற்கிறது.

எனவே, ஆளுங்கட்சியான தவெக-விலிருந்தும் வெற்றிபெற்றுள்ள கூடுதலான முஸ்லிம் சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர்களுக்கு அமைச்சரவையில் இடங்களை ஒதுக்கீடு செய்திட வேண்டும். வார்த்தைக்கு வார்த்தை சமூகநீதியை காக்கும் அரசு என கூறும் இந்த அரசில் தமிழக அமைச்சரவையில் குறைந்தது ஐந்து முஸ்லிம் அமைச்சர்களாவது இடம்பெறுவதை மாண்புமிகு முதல்வர் அவர்கள் உறுதி செய்ய வேண்டும்.

மேலும், முஸ்லிம் பெயர் என்பதற்காக சிறுபான்மையினர் நலத்துறை என்ற வழக்கமான, சுருக்கப்பட்ட எல்லைகளுக்குள் மட்டும் முஸ்லிம் அமைச்சர்களை முடக்கிவிடக் கூடாது. அடையாள அரசியலுக்காக வெறும் பெயரளவு துறைகளை மட்டும் ஒதுக்காமல்; அண்டை மாநிலமான கேரளாவில் கூட்டணி கட்சியாக இருந்தாலும் முஸ்லிம் லீக் அமைச்சர்களுக்கு முக்கிய துறைகள் ஒதுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அதனடிப்படையில் கல்வி, தொழில், வருவாய் உள்ளிட்ட அரசின் கொள்கை முடிவுகளைத் தீர்மானிக்கும் முக்கியத் துறைகளையும் முஸ்லிம் அமைச்சர்களுக்கு வழங்கிட முன்வர வேண்டும். அதிகாரப் பகிர்வும், சமத்துவமான துறை ஒதுக்கீடும் மட்டுமே உண்மையான சமூக நீதியை நிலைநாட்டும் என்பதால், பரந்துபட்ட பார்வையில் இக்கோரிக்கையைப் பரிசீலித்து, அமைச்சரவையில் முஸ்லிம் சமூகத்திற்கான உரிய பங்கீட்டை முதல்வர் அவர்கள் உரிய பொறுப்புகளை வழங்கிட வேண்டும் என எஸ்டிபிஐ கட்சி சார்பில் வலியுறுத்திக் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.

இவ்வாறு அவர் அந்த அறிக்கையில் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
