112 Street just got paved. It’s a major access - pedestrian, vehicle and bicycle to both the UofA and Hospital campuses, yet the pedestrian and bike facilities are minimal. Cars have a too-wide road that is hazardous to all. Is this the best we can do? #VisionZero
I’m disappointed in the sign welcoming people to Banff. “Due to high seasonal traffic, walk your bike and take the Roam Bus.” Or words to that effect. How about “Due to high volume of people using the Park, park your car and ride your bike.” @ParksCanada
Wow! Ontario Transportation Minister McGarry announces the 9,800km cycling network for Ontario. Well done. This will have significant impacts on safety, health, tourism, and social connectedness.

What a wonderful morning!
City councillors from Sapporo joined us for @coffee_outside. We traded stories about winter, laughed, drank good coffee and marvelled at @drdagly’s handlebarista bike.
Akiko, thanks for the translation.
