@WarrenInTheBuff@UBS had a bank in New Zealand that also had 8 character rule, but even more restrictive:
1. must be 8 character password
2. must end with a number
3. must not have the same character in sequence

So…
Deportations of illegal immigrants, people who claim asylum, cross the channel or whatever, that’s one thing, and that’s a whole other argument.
Labour is purposefully muddying the waters here.
They’re trying to make people think they’re doing something about illegal immigration, when in actual fact what this policy does is target Americans like me that came here legally, paid all the fees, followed the law and all the processes.
Yeah, Labour has majorly misplayed their hand here. They are the ones that set the argument up this way, they are the ones that opened the door to retrospectivity.
It should have never been on the table.
It should have been like:
Labour: “Now, we know there is a lot of dissatisfaction with record immigration numbers. We’re going to change the law so that immigration will be limited.”
They never had to say “we’re going to fuck over people who came here legally, followed the law, and followed the correct process.”
this proposal doesn’t even target illegal immigrants, it targets people who came here legally, like me, followed the process, paid all the fees, etc.
What labour is proposing is the equivalent of you getting a job offer, taking the job, and then after 5 years, they say “actually nevermind you need to pay us all 5 years of salary back”

I think you get worse results from LLMs if your messages are full of typos and grammatical mistakes. I’m sure this would not show up in benchmarks, but I still believe it. The models respect you less and become lazier as a result.
